I've said this on my other account. "Nhato has created a masterpiece that can’t be replicated. The piece can be listened by all, repeated over and over, but never lose its beauty." This song is so well done, it encapsulates classical music while giving it a modern twist. I really wish there were more songs like this one, but its a vary niche genre. I know Nhato, Laur, Noah, ZTS, and Taishi have made similar music. If anyone out there knows any other albums/artist please let me know.
Out of any of phant music ive heard, this one takes the cake. Others are good, very good in fact, but this one, this one is on its own tier, its own caste, its own grade
Was listening to Nhato for about 9 years already, I think. Started with barely known "LIMBO". Never even noticed he's THAT amazing. Got so emotional that sent this to every single friend that I thought might enjoy this. More people need to know this artist.
I think the reason why Nhato is so respected is not because he only makes amazing music with a good rhythm, but because I find that he tries to tell a story within each of his tracks, whilst also expressing his artistic flair within each section of a track. He truly is a unique artist! 👌
Another way to put it is that he's not trying to fit in a box of some "genre" He's relying purely on his own judgment to create something authentic and doesn't give a fuck what people think about his music. On his twitter, he gave an advice to young musicians to create their own sounds and reject other people's opinions. If someone think your synth is "screaming" and you need to rethink your career because it's not how all the popular songs are doing it, it's their problem. YOU wanted to make those synths scream. That makes his discography widely varied, and there are some songs I love and others I hate.
@HubertRozmarynowski Well said. And well-tweeted by Nhato. The work he makes is a form of art, just like any other artist. Art is to understand the creator's motivations and voice, their story that they wish to convey, and to reflect on how it can connect with you on a deep level; whether it be illustrations, music, movies, games, sculptures etc. Simply following what's popular is often the downfall of potentially talented artists and creators... Nhato seems to be the complete opposite, which is why I was immediately drawn to his music when I first heard his work.
You should pay attention to the genres of these songs. It helps in discovering music so much. This one is artcore it seems like? A genre that mixes drum n bass with ambient sounds and instrumental music usually produced by japanese doujin music producers
Related to this, and as an example of why you should; I got here by listening to xi's freedom dive, searched artcore, found an (acoustic notes) and bernis, then found taishi with luck, found by then zts, shibayan (?), sakuzyo, etc etc. I recommend ALL those artists.
God, do I wish these tracks were more recognized by the general populous. This is a masterpiece, and kept me interested the entire 10 minutes. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I suppose so, but nonetheless it'd be incredible to know of these as masterpieces of our generation. Imagine, down the line, we notice people listening to this song and showing it off in musical schools as a previous modern masterpiece. Imagine people being entranced by it, and down the line, us as older men and women see it here with an immense amount of views and likes, people buying the albums, appreciating the grandeur of such music.

I imagine a musician's entire life when listening to this. The younger years - peaceful (0:35), learning the basic stepping stones of music. Then comes the teenager period - where professionalism is starting to be shown (2:00 first major instrument is introduced, violin), but at the same time emotional turbulence strikes (2:38 disjointed piano). The initial melody tumbles down and a moment of thought and recollection is made soon after (3:09). Then the main melody appears again (4:45 staccato 8bit synths), singling that a new start is approaching. This time, much steadily. (4:48 ~) Firstly vocals. Then violin. Lead synths. Bass. Drums. And finally piano. All elements are finally united (6:28). The musician starts to prepare for a final symphony. Practice, practice, practice! The day has come (7:00), and thousands have gathered to witness the reveal of the masterpiece. The rest... is history. (7:20) After the final symphony, the musician takes time to reflect back, images of his life flash through his mind (8:23 reversed samples). The life of the musician comes to an end. Nhato, you are a freaking genius.
