    Looking forward to the ride. The slight lean and reach angle to the bars was about the only thing holding me back on buying the Hunter. I hope it now feels just a bit closer to my Classic 350 - even tho the foot controls are a might back, too. But I think I can live with that.
    Some risers also have a rearward offset. That might me what I would try if the cabling will allow it.
    Thanks for taking the plunge, Warro! Your videos have helped a lot of us with our bikes and choices!

    I did see these on your previous video of the Hunter in the dirt👌 Those are probably exactly what you were hoping for to give your shoulders a bit more comfort. Took you no time at all to install them 👍 Will you be doing a ride & try review? Good job Warro🙌 Hoping to hear they have done the trick for you🙏

      had myself in a very risky position hill climb wise about 2 days back. won't go back there again thats for sure....lol got a clip on it too so consering the circumstances i got out of it ok.

    That's a great way of getting an extra inch rise easily. I could do with a slight rise on the Classic but unfortunately that is not possible because of the bar mounts.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah no way they'd fit there as i too gave the classic an eyeball as bikes parked right next to each other.
      front on its easy to pick how much more compact the hunter 350 really is

    I fitted 30mm risers on the Interceptor, the fitting was easy enough but everything was tight, the cables and wiring.
    It took me longer to sort that out than it did fitting the risers.
    I'm interested in what you think of the riding position now.
    Ride safe

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      must admit i too had fitting issues on the interceptor. this crap you hear about teasing out the cables etc....lol yeah sure.
      this was how i fitted the bar risers on the hunter...that easy and quick.
      remove handlebar cable rubbers first...i never did that. undo 4 bolts and take bar caps off. sit new risers inand bolt back up. all done and fit rubbers back on
      i did have to go back in and lift bars slightly as throttle was too close.
      ive done 50 klm on them now through some very rough dirt track country so will give review shortly

    It seems to be a common gripe about the Huntr's cramped stock bar stance, so that's an economical aftermarket success story !

      sorry no fit there. handlebars mounts on classic 350 reborn totally different to the hunter 350.

    as you know Warro I certainly appreciate and sympathize with the hard work you put into the channel, don't let the bastards get you down . Nice to see the bars were tight, Derek from solomotouk bought a scram last year and the dealer didn't tighten the bars and they came loose on the motorway!

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      must admit that would be one hell of a situation to be in. i bet he was packing it....lol
      i recall one day on a brand new classic 500 the steering was too tight from factory and lock dead ahead at 80 kph and i went straight off the road and into the ditch..out the other side and stopped near a large white box tree.
      if that tree had been 20 metres closer...my bet is i would have damaged the bike....lol or worse.

      i like being honest so heres how i see it. i attract lots of jealous people. have so for 50 years. it really pisses them off i just go out and buy what i want...well within reason anyway.
      so on this channel they come and see what i've bought or ride but then leave. they come back again and look and rinse and repeat.
      i knew it was a big ask to have them click on the like button as i needed a good result to make the clip get any interest in the youtube algorythm.
      so i put 25 hours into that clip -reduce footage to 20 minutes and average 6 minute view time.
      thought not good at all.
      so i went back out and did a quickie fitting handlebar risers to a hunter 350
      did the whole lot and up on youtube in under an hour. 4 minute clip. view time 3 minutes.
      plus no $$$ outlay and no 25 hour job doing the clip.
      camping clip has 3000 views now and its a pity they didn't co-opperate and i think they missed out on a real good series.
      unlike most i'm not afraid to spend a few $$$ to try and get things going -never ask for handouts like those other youtube sponges but thats how the dice rolls.
      i'd say the ones who wouldn't click on the like button are happy now but i think the only way i will feel better about this camp venture is ...maybe do a pre-order on one of those new triumph 400 street bikes. that should make me feel a bit better...lol

      @@ridewithwarro On my classic 350 with that unique clamp it was not possible but I found myself taller handlebar replacement that was even cheaper then risers. Long time ago in the pre internet store era, I manufactured risers on milling machine with 50mm rise. It was for Transalp.
      The good thing about RE is that they have big slack on the cables.
