I'm an alumnus of Pomona College...for all intents and purposes, all five of the Claremont Colleges (the five undergraduate schools) are on par with the Ivy League schools and other exclusive colleges and universities that are just as good as the Ivies such as the University of Chicago, Duke, Swarthmore and Amherst Colleges.
My daughter is in HS and interested in Art History, specifically museum work. Does anyone know if Pamona has a good arts program? She doesn’t want to be in a cold climate, so we’re limited to the South or west coast.
Pomona has a great art history program, I worked at the museum on campus as a non-art history major but there were a lot of out of the classroom opportunities to do curatorial work and prepare for museum internships/job opportunities
