Fun fact: Clawdeen wasn't created a lesbian nor was it hinted at all, the fanbase considered her a lesbian icon and once the creator found out he agreed with it. So yes she's a lesbian but after the movies

I noticed each Monster High character have their own signature catchphrase, like for instance, Frankie’s is “Voltageuos”, Clawdeen’s is “Clawsome”, Draculaura’s is “Fangtastic”, and Cleo’s is “Oh my rah!” I’m having trouble figuring out what Lagoona’s signature catchphrase is, I even tried Googling that question and it didn’t give me the answer I was looking for.
Clawdeen said Draculaura’s catchphrase once too, in 13 Wishes: Fangtastic outfit! Bad situation!
Her's is usually "Crikey", which is not very ocean-themed or monster themed, but it is very on brand for her Australian heritage 😅

I remember when I finally found a doll of Clawdeen in a France toy store...literally begged my grandmother to buy it for me, and ever since her passing it's one of my most treasured possessions.
When I was a kid, I asked my grandmother to sew me a Hoodude Voodoo doll (long before the official one was brought into our country), because I liked this character. I even made a drawing for her to use as a reference. And she actually sewed it. And he turned out so adorable.
My grandmother is no longer with me, but I still keep this doll. For me, it was proof of her lack of prejudice.❤

My issue with people saying she's a confirmed lesbian is how it is not true and they are unintentionally giving Mattel credit for something they didn't do.
Mattel literally stopped Garret from announcing the cannon queer characters.
Clawdeen was only meant to be the non-boy-crazy ghoul in their group. When Garret heard the lesbian and aroace headcannons, he said that it is a nice idea.
This was said AFTER he lost ownership of the characters and left Mattel.

I wish his relationship with her was more mature and nuanced, with him being a chill loner to Clawdeen's fierce confidence, but instead it was a very stereotypically cute relationship. Felt OOC for both of them to act all lovesick and goofy. He gets a lot of hate, I think it's because everyone sees Clawdeen with a woman, and Clawd, Clawdia, and Howleen didn't exist in the reboot, with Raythe being Deuce's best friend instead of Clawd. It's not his fault Clawdeen's siblings were removed but he reminds everyone of what they lost.
Don't worry about it, people act vicious when someone headcanons a fictional character with someone else other than the popular option. She hasn't even been confirmed to be a lesbian, the creator just said he would be open to the idea. You're free to ship in peace man, personally I headcanon her as bisexual but I'm not going to attack anyone for thinking otherwise, I'm just tired of people attacking other people for shipping her with a dude.

I loved clwdeen as a child. She was cool, rational and extremmely feminine in her own way. I don't think she is lesbian she just didn't find the one but also wasn't sad about it. She reminded me of myself. Now everyone says she is lesbian just because she has this anttributes? Why can't a girl have her character and also like boys.
