I use/buy ready made (ready to use) fondant. It's easier to handle. In my experience, it takes a lot(effort and time) to make my own fondant and get it to the consistency I want or need. When I have no choice but to make my own, I usually let it set for a day before I actually use it.

How do you make fondant? I would like to try this but with every recipe I follow the fondant is sticky.. yours seems dryer and easier to work with
