The guy in the first case can’t be that good of a man cause if my husband wouldn’t be friends with a man who he KNEW actively beat his wife. He wouldn’t t let the guy stay with us he wouldn’t buy him dinner he wouldn’t be anywhere near him cause he would probably fight him 🤷🏾♀️
@ I think when this episode took place, cell phones were not as common as now. Now we don’t even have a house phone for an irresponsible teenager TO make long distance calls with.
I hope and pray that Darla left her abusive boyfriend of 17 years. She and her young daughter deserve to have a better life. Her boyfriend is a big guy and I can imagine how he intimidates her and controls her. Their young child has a rough life ahead as this girl will never forget her father abusing her mother and chances are she will tolerate physical violence when she starts dating. Realizing it has been many years since this case aired I will remain hopeful that Darla and her child are safe and far away from the abuse. There is never a reason to physically abuse another person. It's a red flag. RUN if it happens to you. 🙏☮️❤️
the parents should be responsible for that long distance calls bill by that 16 year old, its like that in every other case with minors so why is this different????
No because if she was only babysitting an hour here and there it wouldn't be a high phone bill DUH 🙄 she is a liar she was happy with her busy on the phone so she can run the streets.

Ms. Ronstadt was buying a boy toy...and a motorcycle.
You can’t hide the phone. What if there is an emergency. It’s ridiculous.

3 meals and a bunk
Yes
Beating a 3yr with a belt is unacceptable. I pray for that baby
That woman won’t leave him. She’s clearly obsessed with him.
Her fiancée committed suicide over a cracked tub? Seriously??😮That plaintiff really needs some professional assistance and I'm not joking.
I think he might of commited suicide because he was caught doing something to that baby..🤔
JJ was wrong. She should’ve made her pay those phone calls.
