We will start off by comparing Each and every aspect of Linux computer with a Microsoft Windows computer. Then we will give you an overview of the file structure of Linux. After that, we will open each and every directory within the root directory and show you the contents inside these folders.
The main directory inside a Linux computer is / directory or Root Directory. This is the topmost folder inside a Linux computer. Inside the root directory, there are so many subdirectories.
The user contents are kept inside /home/ directory. If there are two normal users in a computer, there will be 2 directories within the home directory and all personal files that belong to the users are kept inside this folder.
