I love this!! he’s the perfect representation of Mexican Americans, I can’t talk in English or Spanish sometimes, feel like I forget both, so this interview really makes me feel relatable and just everything he represents, ni de aqui ni de aya, neither from here nor from there. that’s my mans 🫶🏻
100%! I am Mexican-American 1st generation. Many times I had to explain to non bilingual people - specially white people how difficult it is for me to even speak sometimes because of growing up with 2 languages. We are wired differently.
Damn, never realized how humble Jesus remained. This interview just made me see him from a whole different perspective (in a good way). Love how humble & ambitious he is! Deadass just inspired me to follow my dream, whatever that may be. & his outlook on life and never giving up is really inspiring
This is my guy i discovered him in 2018. He represents Mexican Americans. When people say your not Mexican your American and vice versa he represents that and is comfortable in his own skin. Even within the genre of corridos the mexican fans from Mexico say hes not Mexican. Hes done a good job to navigate through it and his music has unified both the Mexican fans and mexican american fans. I can put him and oscar de la hoya and selena on the same sentence as Mexican Americans that i can idolize. 🇲🇽🇺🇸
@@JoseFelixGabrielMontiel Y aun asi estas aqui escuchando y viendo un video de alguien que te caga, jajaja. Jente como tu es responsable tambien por ser jente como el famoso.
BEING MEXICAN AMERICAN THIS LATIN BAND HAS REDEFINED THE LATIN GENRE AND HAS ALWAYS STAYED ROOTED TO WHAT OUR PARENTS GREW UP LISTENING TOO. I KNOW IF THE ARTIST'S THAT MADE THE CORRIDO GENRE WERE STILL ALIVE THEY WOULD SUPPORT HIM. HE IS GOING TO DO GREATER THINGS. I HAVE FAITH IN HIM AND ABOVE ALL HE IS A RELATABLE PERSON DUE TO HIS UPBRINGING.
I love how in crypt it sounds, like his mind works faster then what he says but hes also kind of filtering what he says to not say certain things. Like the fact he didn’t ever says drugs and alcohol but said lifestyle. Or when he tells Zach well you translated it.
JOP 👏🏼👏🏼 for years you’ve been working & the hard work is finally paying off . I love that you’re finally getting the recognition you deserve! Fan since 2018 ! we eventually grow to love everything you touch !
*Larry Burkett's book on "Giving and Tithing" drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2020 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in my life savings and gave it all away. My total giving amounted to 40,000 dollars. Everyone thought I was delusional. Today, 1 receive 85,000 dollars every two months. I have a property in Calabasas, CA, and travel a lot. God has promoted me more than once and opened doors for me to live beyond my dreams. God kept to his promises to and for me*
It is the digital market. That's been the secret to this wealth transfer. A lot of folks in the US and abroad are getting so much from it, God has been good to my household Thank you Jesus
I decide to finally click on this video. My phone kept feeding it to me but never really cared for it. I was actually pissed because I don’t like pop culture and I hate when someone messes with my algorithm . I am more drawn to alternative rock artists. The truth is that I came across the song “Billete Grande” here on TH-cam and it immediately caught my attention. I like to think I have great taste in music by the way. I heard corridos before but this was something different to me. I am actually very impressed with JOP. I have to say I was judging the book by its cover. My respect to him. JOP is the complete opposite of what I thought he would be. Although to a lot of you he might not seem very articulate due to his lack of vocabulary, he is in fact a genius. Looking forward to see what he and his people contribute to the music industry. 😊
I went to my first fuerza regida concert this year and it did NOT disappoint! What really caught my interest in their music are the live instruments! ❤️🔥❤️🔥 their music is always fresh, I can replay their music over and over and not get tired 🤩
Loved the interview ❤ I commend JOP for challenging himself to different musical experiences. I've been a fan since 2018 and I bump to your new music .
Let me get my two cents. Jop your new album was so dope 🔥🔥🔥 you should make more songs like that. Like a part two in the future....but keep it up, glad to see you at the Top yet you keep climbing for more.
What’s crazy is how I grew up down the street from the house in San Bernardino where he’s from and in our eyes he been as big as he is today 🫡 but damn the neighborhood hero going crazy
JOP really shows that if you are passionate about one thing and you work hard at it. Then you to can become successful. It really doesn’t matter what your education level is, where you grew up or where your parents are from. As long as you have that enthusiasm to get better and better at it. I never thought I would get inspiration from this.
Let's be honest, Fuerza Regida and JOP have been pioneers for representation of Mexican Americans, something Peso Pluma could never tap into, he simply isn't American. The new generation of Mexican artists (Peso Pluma) that are coming from Mexico and doing corridos were clearly influenced by Fuerza Regida, corrido Artists never carried a hood or urban appeal to them. The blending of cultures that Mexican Americans grew up with, clearly influenced up and coming Mexican artists from Mexico.
I got you JOP- for those who don’t know what he meant with “ don’t be a Mandilón” Mandilón means a person who will do everything and anything their partner says cause they are scared or afraid it will upset their partner or simply wants to make them happy even if it doesnt make them happy. I really enjoyed this interview! Sad that there are no Mexicans on the Zach Sang show! If y’all want to hire a Mexican, holla at your girl! ;) currently unemployed.
Everything he saying is nothing but facts...when i heard "No Te Enamores" for the first time...i was like bro wtf is this? I was literally disliking all the songs thinking this aint the shit we like this group for...but after hearing more and more its fucking dope to me now...like he said you just need to let it marinade and slowly let it sink it

The interview JOP did with Big Boy went more in-depth. It's definitely worth checking out.

As a 1st generation Mexican American I truly relate to JOP. Inspirational
I think any first generation can relate to JOP.
aunque la banda es conocida por desmadre y la peda, es claro q jop & fuerza regida han apoyado el crecimiento de la música mexicana. 🇲🇽🇺🇸

There's wonder working power in following Kingdom principles on giving and tithing. Hallelujah!
But then, how do you get all that in that period of time? What is it you do please, mind sharing?

And thanks to my co-worker (Michael) who suggested Ms Susan Jane Christy
How can I start this digital market, any guidelines and how can I reach out to her?

No one is talking about the Afro jack collaboration that song will hit in any club in Las Vegas.
Jop is everywhere. I love seeing him on every podcast every where.
JOP’s face when they ask him if he wants a family of his own 😂😂
Cuz he’s already got one 😂
I’m down for these random interviews because I think I might be the only person that was excited to watch this and Trixie’s interview!!!
So glad to see the homie JOP and Fuerza Regida doing BIG things. New album is 🔥
This was a great interview from JOP. I love that he listens to his fans bc it’s telling in this interview. I love Fuerza Regida ❤

Only REAL OG went to the S.M.O tours. THAT WHEN IT BLEW UP 🔝
Yesss! They need to do an SMO reunion tour!!
Yep I went to one of SMO tour @ Tulare Fairground
That’s my little cousin right there. Huge fan and proud as can be.
Very interesting. Everyone wants to put a label on everyone. People are too dynamic to just be stuck as one thing. Gotta be able to grow like he said.

first of all, you having him on is crazy. second, him being an artist and not knowing what DISCOGRAPHY means.... IS INSANE 😭
Word that is rarely used
He grew up in a Spanish speaking household, you have to come from one to understand.
