When I discovered that there was a culture out there for journaling and books and planners I went crazy. I thought I was the only that still loved paper and books. Glad to be a part of my new culture
Haha you are definitely not alone. I've been using planners since I was 11 or 12 (possibly younger). About 4 years ago I tried digital in an effort to be more environmental friendly and I just failed to be organised. After 2 years of madness I decided I need the physical planner and that was when I started bullet journaling. Have not looked back since.
Love your collection. If I told someone the amount of money I've spent for stationary and planners, they'd probably think I'm a lunatic 😅 but this is just the kind of luxury I enjoy: it makes me motivated to be creative!
*says somethings kinda profound about individuality and what brings people joy* "I don't even know what I'm saying anymore..." Girl what you talkin about, it was great!
I am right there with you when it comes to liking journals, or really, anything pertaining to writing, drawing, paper and pens. This is the world of treasures for me since I was a small child and many moons have past since that time. Keep up with the great videos and new ideas.
I completely understand your addiction to stationaries, it is my happiness all the time !! Not to mention writing, where it feels that I left earth and fly into another planet !! 😌♥️
I have been going back to these old videos because your voice is so calming to me and I just love seeing someone with the same 'problem' with me concerning stationery. I definitely have been spending quite a lot of money on stationery and I tried to reign in this need. Not really successful with it but at least some of the things I spent money on, I know I will keep them for life so I didn't really worry about it. I want to buy a traveller's cover but I also want to wait until the perfect moment to spend money on it. Hopefully I can do soon ha ha.
Happy I’m not the only one who used multiple notebooks at a time. I have a weekly planner, a personal journal, a sketchbook, another sketchbook for stories and a brain dump notebook and a to do list notebook.
I love sketchbooks, but I think I’m happy that I like to look for cheap things. Just recently bought a thin cheap journal type sketchbook but it wasn’t in a colour I liked. So I covered it in some nice marble paper. Turned out very nice but I have no clue what I’m going to use it for 😂
I literally clicked on this video because I saw the notebooks on the thumbnail. And not any notebooks, but those notebooks. I have some of those and the other day I was looking at more to buy and then started to feel bad because I already have a lot that are supposed to last for life... so I'm happy to see I'm not the only one. As long as we use them, there's really nothing to apologise for. I'm also a bit obsessed, but then I remember, I don't go to parties, spend on drinks or even go to the saloon. I deserve to have my little something I spend too much on :)
Same. When I first started writing stories, I was using just pieces of paper. Then my mom bought me a journal so I wouldn't waste the paper. Then she bought me a floppy disk so she wouldn't waste money on buying the journals. Then she bought me a flash drive because floppy dish became nearly extinct (I'm sure there are still some out there). Now I have a digital writing tablet (I bought it because I didn't want her to spend half a grand on it). So, yeah. My journal addiction began because my mom didn't want to waste paper.
The way we think, create, and share our obsession and thoughts and ideas really reflect on our environment. I'm so happy just by watching this. Love this video a lot!!
I'm waiting for my very first Journal to arrive soon and it's so exciting !! Seeing as this is my first time attempting it, I'm only gonna use that one journal. Athough I already have this one notebook that I use as a Diary of sorts to vent all my most negative feelings. So I guess I have two notebooks ?? Also, I usually splurge on makeup ! 🤭🤭
I decided to switch my bullet journal to a Traveler's Notebook for 2020, because I thought the modular setup would serve me better. However, I wasn't 100% sure how I wanted to organize things, and most of the videos I found when searching for ideas were purely creative journaling. Stumbling upon your bullet journal videos was a godsend. They're a great demonstration of a functional planning structure with an added decorative aspect. While I do things differently, you really helped get me unstuck, and I absolutely love my TN. Like you said, the upfront cost seems steep, but it's a buy-for-life product and the average cost drops over time.
I have dozens and dozens of notebooks, ranging from a handmade leather, roll up Shepherd's journal, which I love, to a standard Midori, to Rhodia notebooks, to notebooks and journals from China, Japan, England, and France. I can't begin to use all of them, especially since I'm powerless to stop buying every new one I see. I have a real fondness for leather, so I have both leather bound notebooks and journals, and leather covers for the Rhodia and other notebooks. The ones I actually use on an almost daily basis are remarkably like yours. A couple are different brands, and I don't use them for the same purpose, but the nature of the notebooks is highly similar. I don't bullet journal, in the sense of creating my own calendar. I use a large size Monthly/daily See It Bigger planner for a calendar and planner. I don't like dot grid or graph paper at all, so my Midori notebooks both have lined and blank fillers, the lined for writing, and the blank for sketching. Among other EDC items, I carry the standard Midori, the Shepherd's Journal, a 7x10 sketchbook, six sizes of mechanical pencils, and a dozen colored pencils, along with erasers, etc., in a cross shoulder sling bag wherever I go. I keep a pocket size See It Bigger, two year planner in the Midori. I carry the passport Midori, a two year See It Bigger Planner, a 3.5x5.5 sketchbook, and a 3.5x5.5 journal, along with a fountain pen and a couple of mechanical pencils, in my pockets for those times when I have to be temporarily separated from my sling bag. The sketchbook and the journal are both hardcover.
Hi Sarica, I really love what you're doing and I think it relaxing as well. I have binder planning and would love to see any suggestion you have on planning, journaling and decorating with binder planner. Thank you!!
Loving your collection! I have quite a stash myself 😅, I have a bullet journal for my video content planning and personal goals, a personal journal for emotional discharge or memory keeping, a personal development journal... soon to start a 5 year journal... also starting a sketchbook journal and a watercolor journal... yeah, do I have a problem? No, of course not. This is what I love using my spare time for 🤗.
Your writing and drawings are so beautiful. Love your videos, they’re so well presented and professional, whilst still being enjoyable 🥰💕 Keep up the good work, and congrats on the new bubba xx
I spent a crazy amount of money into stickers and craft paper, and it seems to never be enough for me. I have a bunch of stickers and washi tape with a stack of colorful papers, til the point of messy but never really regret it :)
I love my traveler’s notebook. Definitely a splurge but it’s lasted me so long and I find it so convenient to switch out the inserts and I keep my old inserts and look back at them from time to time. 💁🏽♀️ Definitely am going to look into the folio. Love tour videos as always and how honest your reviews are!
i really loved this video, Sarica! my addiction is mostly craft supply, especially STAMPS! I have thousands! But in my defend, I use them everyday :) I also have many journals and notebooks so I can really relate to you :) hahaha
I have so many notebooks and other stationery I could open a shop! I can’t help it I’m addicted, I just have to try every new pen, I need help lol xxx💕
myghad! 😱 you are so talented..when i started watching your videos i have this weird feeling..i dunno..i think it is the excitement on what you're goin to share again in your vids..i really love your style especially the vintage thing.. 😍😍😍😍
Art supplies. I’ve taken inspiration from mobile gaming, and buy myself a new copic marker or tube of watercolour paint for completing a week or month of a given goal. I’m impressed with your ability to commit to a cover for life. I get joy from changing my aesthetic quarterly 😅
i'm using a hobonichi weeks for planning, a hobonichi day-free for daily-ish journaling, & a 6-ring diary (i got from BTS' seasons greetings 2020 LOL) for creative journaling/stream of consciousness my feelings stuff. i have so many other notebooks since i love to buy cute ones LOL but i never use them, so i've put myself on hold at least for buying notebooks. stickers & washi on the other hand......

I perfectly understand your addiction! In fact my goal is try to use lots of my notebooks and journals on my channel :)
I love them all I have an addiction to stationary, books, music cds, puzzles, board and card games..my favorite are your journals... Love love... them... p.s. my addiction is probably shopping... I also have an addiction for 12" x 12" scrapbook paper... Love to scrapbook, scrap journal and regular journaling... this I am attempting my first bullet journal... yes I love stationary!!!
art supplies! i spend my disposable income on art supplies. I'm here because i'm researching bullet journals and this video (which i like very much) came up in my queue.
I always adored people who manage to keep their notes, calendars, journals etc. so neat and organized. Unfortunately I'm not that kind of person so I just did my notes my way and it's that kind of messy that no one except me understands them :p Love it tho, just scribbles doodels and messed up pages everywhere lol
Beautiful planners and journal books...is that your own printing in the books? Its so small and perfect it looks like its actually from a printing press! Very nice!
I tried to use the travelers notebooks, but I just can’t seem to stick with it. Several of my other notebooks I use on a weekly or monthly basis, but I think the travelers notebooks are just a little too slim/narrow for me. Curious, where did you get that top sticker sheet with the mugs on it. It’s super cute. And I love how you have the vials 🧪 for ink. Gives me an idea for storing my calligraphy ink. Thanks for sharing.
I freely admit I am an art supply junkie, made worse by the fact I have a job to actually fund my hobby now 😂. I have several large investments upcoming including the A5 and B5 Galen Leather zip folios to protect and contain my two main books. Also going to stock up on loose leaf Tomoe River paper to use added to my bibles for note and art space. Considering Life Noble for my next sketch journal since I prefer using fountain pens than even microns, I need to sketch more too just started Inktober and plan on actually sticking with it this year
The Galen Leather folio is on my wishlist! 😍 I used to buy a lot of video games myself, but now I've shifted over to buying a lot of stationery. I still love both hobbies, but it does feel nice to have a more creative "end product" in journaling.
I love your videos! Where is your pencil board from? I just got a brown travelers company tn but can’t find a plain pencil board, only the one with the musical instruments on it. TIA!
You mentioned the writing board and I've been trying to find something exactly like that but can't seem to find one 😭 can you tell me where you bought it?
my thing is notebooks i know i have a problem i have toooo many notebooks i am weak towards it and i cant do anything.i love your drawing and see you draw hijabers i love it btw i am also a hijaber

Thank you.
Same here. Absolutely love it.
I have a definite addiction - paper, pens, pencils, notebooks, washi, stickers, stamps & planners!
Love your collection. If I told someone the amount of money I've spent for stationary and planners, they'd probably think I'm a lunatic 😅 but this is just the kind of luxury I enjoy: it makes me motivated to be creative!
Thank God, someone else who has several notebooks, and journals ! Love the video!

“We all have a thing,” and this is SO my thing. Thank you so much for yet another lovely video. Hope your family and baby are healthy and well!
I completely understand your addiction to stationaries, it is my happiness all the time !! Not to mention writing, where it feels that I left earth and fly into another planet !! 😌♥️
The stationary is my true love affair. Watching the video and reading the comments makes me happy because there are people on the planet who get it.
