It is very reasonable on price and well made. Lol, you’re right I never seen that either, but at least you can stay warm while your camp burns down lol.
Yeah, I bought a fold up titanium stove and it warped pretty badly in less than a week. Now I’m looking at these, something that hopefully will last a lot longer,,,
old school with a modern twist thanks brother! They make multiple sizes, this one might be a little small for your cabin, but they have bigger ones, and I think very reasonable prices for what you get. Thanks brother!
Yea man, I’ve been staring at stoves myself not sure which one to pull the trigger on yet, also thinking about fire proofing the Lavvu sleeve! Thanks for the video, it definitely looks like a contender 👍🏼🍺
73 Forge Outdoors it’s a nice one. There are a lot of good choices to choose from, just depends on how much you want to spend. The Gstove looks like the best one I’ve seen, but pricey. Thanks brother!
73 Forge Outdoors yes, those are nice, I like those too. I thought about that one, but the shipping would’ve put it out of my price range. Those look good to go. A lot of reviews I’ve seen, people really like them.
Great review thank you! One thought I have is that it needs a grate for the floor so the wood is up off the floor. It will add greatly to the life of the stove.
I like that! When I first got mine I got some seasoned red oak an fired it up! Mine was painted black then oiled! Man did it smoke!!! My O'l Lady ain't goin' even with a wood stove! Looks like a good stove. ZZ.
Awesome. Im thinking about getting one for the workshed. Keep the shed warm but I can disassemble and take with me on a trip. Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work!
Thanks for the review, that's the stove I've been wanting for a long time . Now that I finally found a Laavu I want to do hot tenting in the winter too, need the heat up north here in the winter!
That is an awesome bad ass stove . Man i been looking at them lately not that i need one i also seen them GStoves bad ass also but the orice3 of this is more affordable to me . Hell I'd make one if i gave my self the time to do it LOL great review brother Cheers Joseph
Broseph Russell those Gstoves are sweet, but way expensive, I’d love to have one. But this stove is very nice, it’s solid, and it gets hot, you would not be disappointed.
Ah crap.......I think that I already know what I'll probably be buying next fall/winter ;) I already ordered a second Lavuu just because I was so impressed with mine when it came a few days ago. I figured I might as well get another while I still can, that way I don't have to worry about wearing the first one out (not like that's going to happen any time soon, though!)
Mountaincoffee Outdoors it’s a sweet stove, and it will work great in the Lavvu, that’s why I got this one, it’ll be a great combo. I’m glad you like the lavvu brother, they are awesome.
Great new intro. The sound and the bass on my speakers was fantastic. The visual was futuristic and entertaining. Absolutely loved it! Link to stove very slow....didn't come up. Your cardinals seem to be very happy! Many people rail on the green cups. They nest fairly well and I love 'em too. Love all your channel content. Keep up the great (efforts and time) work!
Congratulations on your amazing gift brother, those are so sweet! I've been watching how to make one from an ammunition box which I will try this spring. Cool video my friend
Thank you for the great information on the stove. I've been keeping an eye on this make also. Looking forward to seeing more videos with it in the future.
Nice stove! That would work great in your ‘bunker’ on the property. You might be able to put that lava rock they use in gas bbqs in stead of sand. Nice patina on the stove now. Looks like spring has sprung in Oklahoma! Know that will change tomorrow!!! Stay hevi!
Robert Gehret thanks brother! And yes, it’ll work great in there. Was thinking about it the other day, working some ideas out. Yeah, I think winter might just be done with. Still hoping for one last blizzard lol.
BOOYAAKAH! Hey my friend... just picked up my new Trekker and hot tent! Nice little stove for them long hunting solo "Are ya Gett'em" time's that I lov so much....lol! Nice review Brother! Glad I found it....
Dude! Awesome new intro! That arrow is badass! And a cool stove, that little shack that needs a little TLC would work well with the stove, as always I enjoyed your video.
Thanks for the review! I’ve been looking for something to put out on my back porch and take camping and whatnot, but I also don’t want to blow too much smoke in my neighbors direction- with your experience with it how much smoke does it make if you’re cooking a meal?
Andrew Schuschu like all stoves, it just depends on the type of wood, how seasoned it is, and how well the burn flow is, but I haven’t had much problem with smoke, it works really well.
I gotta ask.. now that you've tried it winter camping, is it too much stove for a lavvu? I also have a lavvu, and am thinking of adding a stove but I'm torn between one of these kni-co trekker, or an Ammo can stove from packaflame.com
Jason Adams it’s a great stove, but yes, I think it’s too much for a Lavvu, it can burn you out, but you can keep it at a lower regulated temp, but the ammo can stove is perfect for a Lavvu, smaller in size and heats it up good. The kni co stove is built better, but the ammo stove from packaflame is nice, I’d seal it up better if I got one, and I do want one of theirs.
The crossbow intro was even cooler! Is that the same stove Marty has in Mountain Men? That's pretty nice. Is there going to be enough room in the Lavvu for the 3 of you?
Dan Ski thanks brother! I’m not sure what brand he uses, but it’s a solidly built stove, it’s very similar to his if it’s not the same. 3 in a lavvu would tight, no room for a stove for sure with 3.
great bird song too
Great bit of kit and not a bad price either
One thing no one takes winter camping SMM is a small fire extinguisher!
It is very reasonable on price and well made. Lol, you’re right I never seen that either, but at least you can stay warm while your camp burns down lol.
@@SurvivorMetalMan Generally $600 and nowhere near as flat topped as yours. I'll await your field test with interest
And a co2 monitor
Nice stove I like it good video thanks
Willis Blevins thanks brother! It works good.
Yeah, I bought a fold up titanium stove and it warped pretty badly in less than a week. Now I’m looking at these, something that hopefully will last a lot longer,,,
dig your kafir shirt.
stove makes pretty colors once warmed up.
goodness, I forgot to say: I wonder how that'd work in your hidden well?
Grounded Axblade thanks brother, I like wearing it myself. It’ll work good in the bunker shelter.
you can use vineger to remove galvanation, so you dont have to burn it off
Best deal on the internet, just received mine. 5 *`s
Cool, cant wait to see it set up with the Lavvu
Shaun Reed I’ll do a follow up, setup with the lavvu video soon.
Did that video already happen?
Thanks for a great review. Looking forward to mine. Interesting kettle, what kind of coffee kettle/pot was that?
It’s a pathfinder kettle from self reliance outdoors
,,,,very nice,,i need to get something like this for the cabin,,thanks for sharing,,
old school with a modern twist thanks brother! They make multiple sizes, this one might be a little small for your cabin, but they have bigger ones, and I think very reasonable prices for what you get. Thanks brother!

very nice stove and great price. I am still messing around with that ammo stove I made but need to look into one for my cabin
Harshman Hills thanks brother, I like the ammo can idea, just don’t have the tools to make one.
@@SurvivorMetalMan I bought a template kit off etsy for mine. Still need a little touch up and burn off rest of paint
Great addition to your preps thanks for the video
Amra Survival thanks brother!
Great review thank you! One thought I have is that it needs a grate for the floor so the wood is up off the floor. It will add greatly to the life of the stove.
Thank you for posting this, thinking I might pull the trigger on this one!

ZZ outdoors it seems like a pretty good stove, we’ll see if the wife actually does go lol.
I am planning on getting one of these. Thanks for the video!
It’s a good stove my friend!
I just got one can't wait to try it out next week.
Man I love the intro,👍👍
ZOMBIE FARMER thanks brother!
Very cool. Looking for small stove like that for wook shop.
They make several sizes and very reasonable prices, it’s seems to be a solid piece of gear.
Awesome little stove there ! Thanks for sharing! Have a blessed one my friend,!
BushCraftBums thanks brothers!
That's awesome brother!
Jeff Smith thanks brother!
Looks good 👍. That will be a great addition to your gear!
Thanks brother! I’ve been wanting one for quite awhile.
Awesome. Im thinking about getting one for the workshed. Keep the shed warm but I can disassemble and take with me on a trip. Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work!
Survival Theory I know they have ones that are packable and collapsible, definitely will in a shed to keep warm for sure. Thanks brother!
Thanks for the review, that's the stove I've been wanting for a long time . Now that I finally found a Laavu I want to do hot tenting in the winter too, need the heat up north here in the winter!
Jeff Richards it’s a sweet stove, it will keep you warm in the lavvu for sure.
Is it too much stove for a lavvu's small size? Seems like it might create a 95 degree farenheit situation..
amazing stove brother that will be amazing in the Lavvu for some serious winter overnighters well worth a share and shared...atb from Scotland
john kelenfoldi thanks brother! That’s the main reason I got it, to use with the lavvu. I will do a follow up video using the lavvu/stove setup soon.
That is an awesome bad ass stove . Man i been looking at them lately not that i need one i also seen them GStoves bad ass also but the orice3 of this is more affordable to me . Hell I'd make one if i gave my self the time to do it LOL great review brother Cheers Joseph

Hi man thanks for the video do you think this stove would be nice for a hot tent?
Yes, that’s what it’s designed for.
SurvivorMetalMan ok thanks brother

W ALKERONE thanks for the kind words my friend! And thanks for watching!
Cool stove seems easy to put together and start using. Good video, as always brother, thanks for sharing with us.
Kansas Prepper thanks brother, it’s a nice piece of gear!
How many times does he say burn off the packing oils?
a bunch man lol
Very nice. Looking forward to seeing it in action. I'm also digging the new intros.
Green Badger Outdoors thanks brother! And me too.
That's a nice stove. Cheers broither.
Nathan4071 thanks brother! It’s pretty cool!
Thanks for sharing brother! Looks like a really cool stove, and since we don't get much snow in the south, we could use a wagon instead of a sled!!
Hog Creek Village thanks brother! And hahaha yes!
Bought a KNI-CO Trecker at Bass Pro Shop for 167 dollars
Great little stove! Price is right too! Yes it would be great for winter camping especially up here. Thanks brother!
Pinetree Line Outdoors thanks brother, it should do good here.
Cool new intro 🤘awesome stove , always wanted one ! I think that wood be cool camping and feeding it to stay warm
Thanks brother! It should work well!
That stove is cool. Would work great in the brick shelter too.
Shaun Reed thanks brother, and yes it would! I still need to work on that. I was playing with ideas in my head the other day about it.
That's a great stove and a great addition to your tent! Looking forward to seeing you put it all together!
Thanks brother! I’ll do a follow up video soon of it all together. Looks like it won’t get any use until next winter.
I like it , like it a lot should cook you out of the Lavu for sure be toasty ! got one on my wishlist lol
atb john
the mi woodsman thanks brother, it should work good in the lavvu for sure!
Love that stove, would love to have one like that. I could even use it in my travel trailer.
Killdeer Survival brother, it’s a solid stove, and works very well. And really not that expensive.
Great, solid stove for sure T! I would get a false bottom or grill right away.
I am sure that little guy is gonna serve you well... Keep it Burning!
Thanks brother, I will get a false bottom for it, that way it’ll last years longer.
- More stoves should come with a double thick bottom and a grate.
Congratulations on your amazing gift brother, those are so sweet! I've been watching how to make one from an ammunition box which I will try this spring. Cool video my friend
shiny packAGe thanks brother! If I had access to metal cutting tools, I probably would’ve went that way myself.
Thank you for the great information on the stove. I've been keeping an eye on this make also. Looking forward to seeing more videos with it in the future.
That Montana Guy it’s a nice stove, it should work really well, I’m already ready for winter to test it out. Thanks my friend!
they sent you some free tinder with that stove (I shred brown packing paper and bag it for tinder), you could use it in your lavvu
Kaylynn Strain yes they sure did, and that’s the plan, to use it in my lavvu for winter camping. Thanks my friend!
Tent stoves aren't really my style but I can see why people would want them
Woodland Tactical it’s a pretty cool item, it’ll only be used a few times a year.
Hey brother! Do you think a man could use this stove in a small room in the house?
CJ Ferrell you probably could, I know people use them to heat their shops and out buildings.
Brother that stove is awesome. How much do they run ? Great video. Have a great week my friend. Tennessee
Jeff Carter thanks brother, this was right at $200 direct from the company.
Nice stove! That would work great in your ‘bunker’ on the property. You might be able to put that lava rock they use in gas bbqs in stead of sand. Nice patina on the stove now. Looks like spring has sprung in Oklahoma! Know that will change tomorrow!!! Stay hevi!

Hey thats a sweet stove perfect size Id say for tents. Whats the pipe size looks like 4 inch like the spark arrestor idea. good job..
Yep, tent stove. It is 4 inch pipe, it works good, can’t wait to take it out. Thanks my friend!
BOOYAAKAH! Hey my friend... just picked up my new Trekker and hot tent! Nice little stove for them long hunting solo "Are ya Gett'em" time's that I lov so much....lol! Nice review Brother! Glad I found it....
that came with all that pipe?
Cold River Studios yes
Yes, the standard and deluxe comes with the pipe, damper, and spark arrestor. Check out cabelas.com or basspro.com if in the USA
Dude! Awesome new intro! That arrow is badass! And a cool stove, that little shack that needs a little TLC would work well with the stove, as always I enjoyed your video.
SuperIain13 thanks brother! Yes!, it’ll work great in that. I need to work on that.
That's a really nice stove brother!!!
Looks like it should be great in a tent.
Redneck Renegade it’s a pretty cool piece of gear, thanks brother!
How did it work with the laavu?
Super Dave I actually haven’t tried it out in the Lavvu yet, but I think it may be a little big for the Lavvu. I think it may burn me out.
Thanks for the review! I’ve been looking for something to put out on my back porch and take camping and whatnot, but I also don’t want to blow too much smoke in my neighbors direction- with your experience with it how much smoke does it make if you’re cooking a meal?

@@SurvivorMetalMan good to know. I'll probably go with an ammo can stove now. Thanks! And great channel!
Haha it comes with free stuff to burn even...!
Lol, yes!!!!!
It's not stainless so you can't get it wet or it will rust like crazy and you better buy the bottom plate or the fire will burn through fast.
The crossbow intro was even cooler!
Is that the same stove Marty has in Mountain Men? That's pretty nice.
Is there going to be enough room in the Lavvu for the 3 of you?

Can anyone mail me one of those wood burning tent stove/heater please can't afford it now.but I really need it bad to heat up my place.
That's one long intro you got there I had to skip like 30 seconds.
Yeah, that’s why I don’t use it anymore.
It will get rusty ,Had mine for 5 years inside and out !
Cool! look like I need this and a tent for moose hunting season...
that intro is too long
What the fuck is up with your intro bro?
LOL
