When Lucy and renee and Rob did the commentary for this, I'm amazed that we didn't see them discuss the play, when gab appears on stage and xena sees her, that look, the look between xena and gab. This is what the fans wanna hear about. When fates collide is one of the best xena episodes ever. I want to know every detail. What about the balcony scene? I can watch this episode over and over and over again. Give us what we want rob tapert. The xena ending we all need and want
The writer was terrific and I believe she was a real Xenite. How I wished she had appeared sooner and given us more of her talent. Such a terrific episode.
this was a great episode. I can't blame Lucy or renee for not remembering a lot of episodes I mean they work on these episodes for months. including personal days. I remember Lucy in an interview saying that after her honeymoon with rob they went straight to work again. I can't imagine working after special occasions.
they really should've done the kiss. would've made the moment more romantic and slow and memorable. also kudos to the writer, I heard she was a Xena fanfic author and the producers contacted her cuz of her famous and really goodwriting at the time.
I know actors spend much more hours shooting than us watching, so it’s natural for them to not remember every detail. But Lucy really forgot a lot, much more than Renee. I’ve read and heard many times that Lucy was really truly exhausted during the last season that she needed rehabilitation to return to a normal life after Xena. I wonder how much mental exhaustion contributed to her inability to recall latter episodes.
It's not all about Lucy and Renée. They played what they were told to play and said words writen by other people. They're an important part of the show, the visible part, but they didn't conceived it so it's never been all about them.
