Jujutsu Kaisen (呪術廻戦)[a] is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. It has been serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2018, with its chapters collected and published in 22 tankōbon volumes as of March 2023. The story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to eliminate a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host. Jujutsu Kaisen is a sequel to Akutami's Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, serialized in Shueisha's Jump GIGA from April to July 2017, later collected in a tankōbon volume, retroactively titled as Jujutsu Kaisen 0, in December 2018. One gripe, if 9 eyes for gojo dont work, cause itachi has no cursed energy. Then yata mirror cant stop purple, as yata mirror matches chakra nature to cancel attacks, not strictly energy. And cursed energy and chakra arent the same.

Even in Naruto there are 5 different types/forms of energies, 2 of which are combinations of multiple energies (Physical Energy, Spiritual Energy, Nature Energy, Chakra, and finally Sage Chakra. Chakra is Physical + Spiritual Energy and Sage Chakra is Chakra + Nature Energy.)

There's tons of arguments why that's an unfair means of comparing, even then Genjutsu is just ONE of the abilities, there's tons of other abilities that Itachi has that can counter infinity....

There are a lot of times people use it incorrectly and just use it for the sake of their favorite character's convenience. An example of this is Haki = Chakra (Luffy VS Naruto). If Haki = Chakra, then Naruto can negate/bypass Logia Intangibility and special Paramecia mechanics (e.g punches just bouncing off of the user's body). But since Haki is now Chakra, Luffy should now be able to use ninjutsus, genjutsus, and other chakra-based abilities, because he now has chakra (If not then that's just way too convenient for Naruto to have an opponent with the same power system as him but can't even use it in the slightest). Considering that Luffy is an exceptional Haki user, he should be able to use top tier ninjutsus, genjutsus, etc and perhaps even top tier Sage jutsus because he has "advanced" versions of Haki. See? With equalization, we can unintentionally give characters abilities that they don't actually have. Even the verses themselves prove that equalization is BS (But I would only be giving an example from Naruto for now). When Naruto used a normal Rasengan (Rasengan with normal Chakra) on Ten Tails Obito, it did nothing. But when he used the same Rasengan imbued with Sage Chakra on Ten Tails Obito, it was able to damage him. As I explained before in my previous reply, normal Chakra and Sage Chakra are not the same. And if we were to use "equalization" in this Naruto's Rasengan VS Ten Tails Obito example, it would either mean that *A: Both would do nothing to Obito because Sage Chakra would now have the same effect/properties as normal Chakra* or *B: Both would be able to harm/damage Obito because normal Chakra would now have the same effect/properties as Sage Chakra.* Pick your poison. Equalization is like assuming that water and alcohol are the same because they're both :
"liquid", or assuming that plastic and metal are the same because they're both "solid". It's just nonsensical overall. Even if it isn't, it could be equally just as BS as "No Equalization" depending on the situation.

That's why comparing verses in the first places is kind of dumb, but if you have to do it, have some basic rules, people would literally allow some verse only abilities to affect the opponent of another verse, but not the other way around, thats called being "biased"

Dude, you're one of the scalers that actually don't just make vague statements and overrate characters. By the way Itachi's Genjutsu and Gojo's Doman expansion should be relatively the same as they both should be able to overload the enemy right? Also does having a Sharingan make the effects of Domain expansion worse or better?
Itachi's genjutsu(Tsukuyomi) overwhelms the opponent with sensation and Gojo's domain overwhelms the opponent with basically everything (infinite information) you can survive itachi's genjutsu but you can't survive Gojo's domain, once someone is in Gojo's domain they are entirely at his mercy.I don't know about the last question,but in the end having a sharingan wouldn't matter.
@@Omshant69 Itachi's genjutsu isn't required to kill, just to not let the enemy is aware of the reality, plus Itachi can also use a similar method like gojo to spam information in the enemies mind like infinity, especially when the Sharingan has a far greater range..

Itachi can just Amaterasu Gojo which doesn’t need to traverse the infinite space, it just gets brought to life on whatever’s he’s looking at.
He can also use His Mangekyou Sharingan To trap Gojo in Tsukuyomi( no he doesn’t need to look into Gojo’s Eye’s, It’s directly stated in The Lady Chiyo fight and shown in the 5kg summit arc that Danzo and Itachi was able to use Genjutsu w/o their eye’s being used at all). He also doesn’t need to put his chakra inside of Gojo with the Mangekyou Too since it bypasses the need of it.

What you failed to mention is one of gojo Hax that could prove to be very helpful gojo is stated to be able to do illogical things such as making negative one apples as it’s given in his introduction or wtvr you’d call it doing illogical things would be broken in this matchup

Its hard to scale these types of characters because hacks are almost useless because of the different power scales from cursed energy and chakra.

The yata mirror is said to change nature to the attack to counter the attack. But I dont really know if purple would hold a nature so I find it hard to believe that it would reflect it. This case shows in the series too where we dont know if a truth seeking orb, while has all chakra natures at the same time and nullifys ninjutsu would counter the yata mirror.
The difference is Truth Seeking Orbs LITERALLY damage on a spiritual level because they permanently damaged Edo Minato. Purple isn’t existance erasure on an intangible level, it’s on an atomic level.

I don’t see where it states itachi processes infinite information. I understand he puts them in genjutsu where the law of the normal world doesn’t apply. Where the caster has complete control. But it’s an illusion. He’s not actually having infinite amounts of knowledge. He controls the illusion they are seeing. Also controls how time passes in this illusion. Doesn’t mean he’s processing infinite knowledge. i mean, what infinite knowledge is there to process? It just sounds like headcanon to me.

Both are ftl characters plus sharingan can see moves and totsuka balde doesn't have a physical form so it doesn't exist within space meaning limitless is useless as no matter how much space you create totsuka blade will simply bypass it as it doesn't have a physical form

You do realize it’s an inconsistent statement right? You have someone like Hakari dodging a real lightning bolt and Maki scaling around that area yet Mach 3? It’s very clearly a hype up statement. Gege just put a random speed that he thought was impressive which didn’t correspond with the rest of the series. I guess if you want to call her Mach 3, so be it. But there are light speed and lightning speed feats within the series which don’t make sense with a Mach 3 cap.

This video is so bad. If mahito can't attack gojo on a spiritual level why would you think itachi can? Literally fights a character who's entire spheal is to fight on a spiritual lv. Just because itachi could in theory make "infinite"(novels are not databooks, and the databooks in Naruto are notoriously inconsistent regardless) copies of himself in tsuk does not mean he can process infinite information. You ever lucid dreamed before? You could walk forward and never stop, until you woke up, but you aren't processing every bit of information, your brain doesn't even allow you to process how your brain functions subconsciously through your everyday life. And since there is a time limit of tsuk, itachis highest feat is a lifetime relived in a light novel, it cannot possibly be infinite. He has never been shown to make infinite clones canonically regardless, so saying he can process infinite information is insane. Heavy itachi wank.

Domains do not work on people without cursed energy.
So I've heard that the spirit sword (I'm writing this a day after watching the vid so I don't remember its name) should be able to bypass the infinity barrier but it still needs to travel yeah? The barrier doesn't just effect physical things, it effects anything that has a travel time and if the sword needs to be moved to actually get to a target then it's not touching Gojo.
Also I feel like it's a 50/50 chance that Gojo's 6 eyes would make him either immune to genjitsu cause of how extremely fine tuned they are they'd see right though the illusion or he'd be even more vulnerable to it cause of that same fine tuning.

I'm reading here and some don't know basic physics? If you can generate it you can absorb it. If you can dish it out you can take it. If you can take a punch you can produce a punch with the same amount of force. If Itachi can generate an infinite amount of information through his whim, he can take an infinite amount of information when confronted. Which by itself may sound crazy to some, but watching the video gives unique perspective.

It doesn't matter if the totsuka blade attacks the spirit directly, it has to reach Gojo's body to get to his spirit and it ain't reaching Gojo's body, the infinity won't allow it.
Edit: Also, Itachi controls the Tsukuyomi dimension, thats why he can withstand it, he doesn't control endless void. You also misrepresent how hollow purple works, it doesn't matter if his yata mirror is spiritual, hollow purple is imaginary mass moving at instantaneous speed, I know the anime shows it traveling but that's just for the viewer, in the manga it just shows everything in its path destroyed as soon as its fired. Hanami didn't dodge it, he started to leave before it was fired and still got somewhat caught up in it.
It's impossible to survive endless void because he'd need unlimited brain capacity to literally absorb unlimited information being thrown at him for the simple fact of existing inside the domain expansion. Itachi doesn't win this fight, he simply has nothing to bypass the infinity and no way to tank either purple or endless void.

He would still have the capabilities of processing infinite knowledge. It doesn’t matter if it’s in his Tsukyomi. In the novel Itachi spends a lifetime with his girlfriend and she died of old age in there and thus died outside too, in theory he could keep you in there for 30 years but if all he does is talk to you, you won't collapse when you get out, the dimension is inside his control and everything that happens, happens because he wills it, he has infinite time to process infinite information, the same does not apply to unlimited void where he isn't in control, where he gets an infinity of information and absolutely no time to process it.
If you don't like the word instantaneous then let's go with faster than light speeds which by definition it is, because its imaginary mass. The reason why you don't see it travel is not because its a manga panel, as we've seen literally thousands of manga panels from different series (including jjk) where attacks are seen as they travel. Gege makes it a point to show hollow purple's destruction but not the attack, because it's imaginary and ftl.

You failed to mention any way in which Itachi can beat or kill Gojo, the intangible sword thing doesn't mean it would bypass limitless since it's an object that needs to be moved, if it can't reach it's opponent because it's being swung too slowly, then it will never do anything. Same goes with genjutsu, it's just an illusion with no real damage that it can do, the taya mirror only reacts to chakra, or life energy and you can't say it would work with cursed energy because of verse equalization. If we're going by real math/physics theories (which I guess we aren't, since this is manga/anime but whatever), "FTL" is actually _much_ faster than "instantaneous": if an attack possesses tachyon-like speed, it will actually hit its target long _before_ it was fired. (Tachyons travel backwards through time due to their velocity).

I just wanna add something. If we are gonna bring up the fact that "Gojo's six eyes wouldn't be effective on Itachi because he has no cursed energy," then be fair and remember that Genjutsu only affects those whom have chakra. If we take into account that itachi is using is mangekyo well, first off it would take a large amount of of his chakra and secondly it would have to actually feed chakra into Gojo's brain, which infinity most likely could block out due to it being always active. I also want to bring up the fact that unless Itachi actually destroys Gojo's entire brain he wouldnt kill Gojo simply because Gojo is always using reversed cursed energy on his body and mind to keep infinity active meaning should he even be hurt he would just regenerate.
Overall, the only way Itachi is actually winning is if his Tsukuyomi can actually get through to infinity or if he uses his susanoo. I also want to add that stating itachi should be able to process limitless information feels like a large high ball.
Lastly (though it is out of character) what happens if Gojo simply decides to teleport away constantly to waste itachi's stamina/chakra more and more or just stays levitating/flying in the air just to spam hollow purple on Itachi. I feel the Genjutsu of the Totska blade would still work due to it being spiritual in nature, Chakra can and has been used spiritual things and l believe the Totska blade gives Chakra through piercing the target spiritually to put them under the Genjutsu.
Aside from that, I do believe Itachi shouldn't be able to resist the domain expansion (at bare minimum, not easily).
Though I do believe or find it easier to come to a conclusion that if it was an in character fight Itachi would struggle hard until he pulls out the susanoo which Gojo might underestimate due to who he is?

The video kinda makes it seem like Itachi stomps one sidedly, and I do not agree with that. For the vast majority of the fight, I see Itachi struggling as he would typically only pull out the susanoo as a last resort unless he knows he's fighting someone he needs to immediately pull it out for such as Sage mode Kabuto.
It'd be hard to justify him immediately pulling it out for gojo without trying to understand his abilities and use his own tricks to then realize most if not all of them would fail.
Which gives Gojo ample time to beat him down, or even just straight-up win due to his huge edge or not being able to be hit by any physical attack.

So a few things...
Relatively speaking, even if Gojo is significantly faster than Maki, that's still nowhere even near lightning speed (which pre Part One Kakashi is). Maki was caught off guard by Mach 3 speeds with no contest.
Lightning's speed (not to mention light speed which Itachi is closer to or surpasses via reacting to Naruto - who reacted to light speed Ay) is far above even 100x what Maki is fully capable of in speed.
Next, I wanna talk about Amaterasu, as it wasn't really brought up, here. One could argue that Gojo's infinity blocks oncoming attacks, BUT Amaterasu simply spawns on the target. It gets debatable, but I think it would work, as it took Naruto chakra that came from within him and around him (similar to Gojo's barrier being around him) to "peel off" Amaterasu. Again, I know this is debatable, but I just wanted to state the argument can be made (and in my opinion at the moment is stronger) that Amaterasu spawns ON Gojo, bypassing the barrier that's AROUND him.
Totsuka Blade pierces through anything, so barrier is bypassed by nature.
Yata Mirror deflects any force, so purple, blue, and red are all negated.

The immeasurable speed argument is wrong, consistency doesn’t matter, feats are feats because having that speed normally is bad for the plot even thought it makes no sense, but it’s his infinity, his infinity is a type of spactial manipulation and that is what is protecting him.
Another argument is that gojo really is wrong, if he has immeasurable speed, he would be able to do things much faster and not need to even teleport and he’s not displayed any immeasurable speed feats in the main story so gojo is straight up wrong.

In Naruto, rhere is a NEED for Itachi's hax to be "stated" as being spiritual in nature due to how jutsus normally work on a physical plane.
Itachi's hax abilities have spiritual _properties_ to them, in the sense that normal people can still see his susano'o just fine without needing high spiritual awareness. It's just a "physical" ability with spiritual properties whereas Gojo's abilities are spiritual based with physical properties.
A normal person would see a building blow up from Gojo lifting a finger, they won't see the red, blue or purple curse energies the way jujutsu sorcerers would.
This is all to say that, there are nuances with power systems... they don't all follow the same rules, what may need further explanation in one may just be a casual thing in another.

I agree with pretty much everything said here. Itachi just hard counters, and his other MS abilities like Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi would also most likely bypass infinity, as the former spawns on the target, and the latter injects the MS chakra itself. Sharingan chakra is the Yin Half of chakra, which is spiritual, which means it would likely be intangible and bypass the Infinity.

Jinchuuriki are imune to genjutsu because they always have ''someone else'' to shake their chakra for them. Wouldn't Gojo's mastery over cursed energy (enough to master RCT) be enough to awaken him from Tsukuyomi? Plus we've seen several instances of Amaterasu beeing blocked when it ''shouldn't'' like Gaara's slow ass sand, pretty sure it would stop at Infinity or Gojo would see it coming with the Six Eyes and dodge it with his crazy speed.
@@macktheknifee9301 The problem with the genjutsu thing is that Jinchuuriki are explicitly NOT immune to Tsukuyomi. Naruto even tells Killer Bee that if he gets hit by either Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu that it would be game over. Tsukuyomi happens in literal Picoseconds, so Gojo wouldn't have time to even try and breakout before he gets put into a coma.
Gaara's sand was able to block it because it appeared before Amaterasu was finished being cast, this is how most characters deal with Amaterasu, they either dodge Sasuke/Itachi's perception, or use Precog senses to block themselves from sight beforehand. Even if Gojo could see it coming, Itachi and himself have comparable speeds, so it is questionable if he would be able to avoid it for very long.

Infinite void works by two effects,
It overloads the victims brains which causes them to be paralyzed.
The 2nd effect is the brain damage the user has after the domain is destroyed.
Itachi being able to process infinite information only means that he will not get brain damage from infinite void however he is still suseptible to being paralyzed.
What supports this is the fact that a 0.2 second domain expansion was enough for jogo and Mahito withstand the information, however they were still paralysed.
I sm sorry but i gotta say, Itachi has zero wincons.

I do not think it applies for Itachi, his genjutsu takes place over the course of a picosecond (One trillionth of a second.) So he still gets fried. He can push this as far as forcing an entire lifetime of information into this timeframe.

@@alibeknorbekov5963 I was being sarcastic lol. But the Totsuka Blade is formless and ethereal, it is a spirit weapon that ignores physical durability. Infinity works on an atomic level, so it wouldn't effect something that has no physical form. Gojo gets stabbed and sealed.
Itachi is FTL so it depends on if a "super fast character" is significantly faster than that.
It also depends on how "invincible" they are, as if it's only physical invincibility then they would also get sealed. Even being spiritually invincible is somewhat arguable, as the Totsuka Blade is the counter-part to the Yata Mirror, which can block all attacks, even those on an astral plane. So it wouldn't be unreasonable to say that the Totsuka Blade also ignores spiritual durability. So you may need Layered Spiritual Invincibility to have a chance at resisting it.
And yes, I know how genjutsu works, and it works on Gojo.

If it's truly intangible, sasuke would pass through it and stab itachi. It's hard without headcanon ideas, but from what I perceive, Purple still erases through susanoo and reach itachi
