The part about female representation curiously omitted Metroid, arguably the most empowering game for female representation. Also, I feel like giving TLoU the "HBO Box Set" spot is a little weird. It is and definitely was part of blockbusters. A game that had pretty much the same kind of craze and didn't fit in with either blockbusters or indie games was The Walking Dead Season One. It was incredibly story driven, so much so that the gameplay aspects of the point and click roots played second fiddle to the story. And it had essentially the same story with the father figure player character, and this little girl that you become so attached to that by the end of the game you just can't avoid shedding a tear.
