Awesome man, keep up the great content! Both your NG's look amazing. Also hearing about you mention oil in the intercooler and piping reminds me that I need to get mine cleaned out. I've had an ETS intercooler for my '06 9-5 Aero for 13 years now, and it's been thru some stuff. About 8 years ago my wife drove thru some deep water in it on her way home from work when she borrowed my car while hers was in the shop and pretty much hydrolocked it. My uncle and I were able to revive it about a week later though, but I haven't had the time to do a tear down and refresh everything myself over the years due to life. So it's awesome to see people still wrenching on their Saabs when I'm not able to right now. So keep up the great work, I love watching it!
Am trying to do the same install on my Buick Regal GS here in the States. Same motor and pipe work. Just got a new turbo (k04) installed. Do88 express it should fit. Will order pipes or intercooler to start. Cheers 🍻 Great Sir. Love the vids
If this one is too expensive for someone, I recommend a FMIC 600x300x76, also from do88. You get the same (if not better) result for x4 less price, just need to think of two mounting brackets and replace two silicone elbows adding 2 reductions. Huge improvement, not much more work than this, but a lot of money saved. Anyways, thanks Jonas for the good content.
Thanks for Your comment but you are wrong in what you are stating, a universal cheap intercooler will never be better or as good as a specific modeldesign ic. There are flowtests that states the hard facts. Both intercoolers are "bar & plate" design, but the ng9-5 is more refined, a finer pitch etc. The only point where you are correct is that your installation will be cheaper. Its sad to get these type of comments when a company like Do88 gives it all to design a supernice kit for a car model that is very limited in production numbers = less kits to sell... Its not a winning situation in this case. But they do it for Saab and the entusiasts that appriciate them 👌
