with respect, kuya, "thrust" is the "pushing power" (or force) of the propellers. with the 5 bladed prop, you need less volume of air (driving 4 blades) to maintain a hover and is why your air flow indicator showed a lower number. to do a more accurate test of "thrust" you will need secure the drone in place without obstructing the airflow from the top. then record the airflow at max throttle (or the same rpm) for both propellers measuring from the same distance below the drone. theoretically, the 5 blades prop (with the same blade angle) running at the same rpm should produce more "pushing power" than a 3 bladed prop. the downside of a 5 bladed prop would be more drag, which equates to overall less flight time. but performance, in theory should be improved. the 3 bladed prop is a balance of both performance and flight time. you will need to choose which one you want if you increase the number of blades. cheers!
for some reason my avata is acting weird after I installed 4 bladed hqprop ,parang naging malikot siya kahit upon takeoff? I triple- checked the props orientations but is there a proper way pag install? , I notice there's a letter " R " on the two props ?
baka you are flying it on a windy day. that happens to me kasi nag aautocorrect yung auto-leveling ni avata habang hinahangin siya. sakin di masyado malikot unless mahangin na. pag 3 blade HQProp ko na experience yung medyo twitchy siya kasi masyadong mabigat yung avata for the 3 propeller so underprop siya
