‘Serenity isn’t avoiding challenges, it’s about facing them with strength’-such a powerful takeaway! I’ve been applying Stoic principles to everyday situations like traffic jams, and it's been a game-changer. Anyone else experiencing this?
What you have delivered is the best way forward to live a super natural lifestyle that's floating around but not connected for us so there is nothing better than your message ❤
This lesson on controlling our responses is truly life-changing! The reminder that we have power over our minds, not external events, really resonated with me. How do you all practice staying calm during chaotic moments?
When I discovered this channel I make sure I listen to them each morning when I wake up and before bed while I'm getting ready to start or end the day. Great bookends!
Thank you so much for your wonderful words! We're deeply grateful for your support and thrilled that our channel adds value to your day. Wishing you all the best and much success! ♥️♥️🙏
I m at the beginning of this stoic journey... I dont listen to social media or very rearly watch news channels.. My bad habit is to go to the worst case senario in any given situation.. I do Tai Chi to try and lessen my stress but its taken these stoic teachings to get me to reflect on what triggers my thought process into those dark places... many thanks to you guys for these words of wisdom
You are welcome ♥️ It sounds like you're making great progress on your Stoic journey! It's wonderful to hear that Tai Chi and Stoic teachings are helping you manage stress and understand your thought patterns better. Keep up the good work, and thank you for sharing your experience!
Key lessons include focusing on what you can control, accepting what you can't, and choosing calm, compassionate responses. By recognizing the "circle of control," you can direct energy toward controllable aspects and let go of external stressors. The teachings of philosophers like Epictetus and Marcus Aurelius are highlighted to illustrate how these principles can reduce stress and build resilience. Practical examples, such as handling traffic jams and canceled flights, demonstrate how Stoic principles can be integrated into everyday situations to maintain serenity and clarity.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment! I'm glad to hear that my content helps you stay mindful and true to yourself. Your support and positive feedback mean a lot to me. Thanks for being a part of my channel's community.
Such a calming and enlightening video. Your explanation of Stoic philosophy is so clear and applicable to daily life. Thanks for helping us navigate life’s stresses!
Great video on staying calm! Here are two valuable lessons I took away: 1. Control Your Reactions: Staying calm in any situation is a superpower. By focusing on what we can control-our reactions and attitudes-we can maintain inner peace and make better decisions. 2. Mindfulness and Presence: Being fully present in the moment helps us to respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively. This mindfulness allows us to stay grounded and calm, even in challenging circumstances. What techniques do you use to stay calm in stressful situations? Let's discuss with me! 💬
I feel like I’ve gone my whole life as a 23 year old with no older male role models besides the fictional characters of tv and video games. Now I finally feel like I’ve found a philosophy and a way of life that makes sense to me and like I have real life role models now
I really appreciate you sharing. What if the cutting the strings involved having to be at work and the influences from that place? And changing to another place does not fix the issue
Thank you for watching, I believe that with strength and determination, we can overcome any obstacles in our path. Sometimes, small changes within us are the key to solving big problems.
Let me tell you the following true story: My friend's mother-in-law always valued her son and daughter and did not love her daughter-in-law. But on the outside, the mother spoke cleverly to make her believe that she loved her. The daughter-in-law gave her mother-in-law money to repair the house, lent money to her sister-in-law to buy a house, paid her mother-in-law's hospital bills..., and many other living expenses. But her mother-in-law always wants to get more money from her. After a long time of being taken advantage of, she woke up and realized she had to live for herself, for her own happiness, and she didn't care about what her mother-in-law said or wanted and let her husband handle.
😢 This story highlights a common yet difficult family dynamic where generosity and goodwill are met with manipulation and exploitation. The daughter-in-law's eventual realization and decision to prioritize her own happiness and well-being is a powerful step towards self-respect and empowerment. It underscores the importance of setting boundaries and recognizing when relationships are imbalanced. While it may lead to challenging conversations and adjustments within the family, it ultimately promotes a healthier and more sustainable way of living. Thank you for sharing 🙏
I just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of you for your amazing support and encouragement. Your constant backing means everything to me and keeps me going. Thanks for being such awesome viewers!❤❤
