Hi guys, I’m Matthew Msingathi from Dimbaza, South Africa. I want to thank FCC for making this possible. I hope you will learn shadcn and use it in your job or side projects. God bless you!
Watching video would be beneficial for beginners but if you are an intermediate level js developer, i would suggest to read the official shadcn docs instead of spending 3hrs for this video , thanks
Thank you @freecodecamp for the tutorial, I've been following your courses and they really helped me, but this one ends with the tutorial guy saying "shoot a comment below and help me out" i think you should review a little more the tutorials before publishing them and stay up to your old good standards. With all respect to Matthew
Thanks for the positive feedback, i really appreciate it. This comment is up on me and I take a full responsibility for it without any excuses. It will help me to grow as a person and as a developer. My sincere apologies for the inconvenience.
@@codeddesign Glad to see you appreciate the feedback. Your next tutorial will be x10 better . Apart from that i enjoyed, and actually learnt a lot of new stuff. Thank you.
No, i also teach how to create reusable components. Like code once and use it many times, i also teach you that its not about copy and paste but building you own component library through shadcn.
Thanks for your concern, Its a mistake on my side and i fully admit it. I didn't know if ShadCN has a huge market or there is a need in the dev community. Maybe FCC might work out something and feature me again in the future.

Just me or shadcn does not need a 1 hour tutorial video
It needs a 2:50 hours video

You can install shadcn manually in existing projects to prevent that overwrite issues
Thanks, i didn't know that.
Do we have the source code somewhere?
Wait wait... Are you just copying the code from their doc in this video? 🙂

i dont like TS. but shadcn doesn't support js. I'm not out.
@Takatou__Yogiri I understand, and it's OK, but I would suggest you give it a try in baby steps. You won't regret it. It's worth learning
support js
just convert it from ts to js
