Could always go to cedar city.
im interested in a sporty chassis
I'm down for a sporty
I’ve been watching this video several times thinking about buying one of your chassis. I do competition rock crawling in Michigan. And I noticed you don’t have a lot of articulation in the front. That must be by design. Is that more a hard liner kind of Crawler versus a, big rough Michigan rock? Thank you for your time.
I use 86mm shocks. It's the shock length that determines articulation. I know you'll be happy if you go this route as it's a very capable chassis and hangs with the best of them. I've gotten great feedback from customers on my chassis design.
Whats a sporty?
A sporty aka a sportsman rig is a shaft driven crawler using 2.2 wheels/tires with a 12- 12.5” wheelbase. And often a class with no dig or 4 wheel steering allowed. At least that’s it used to be a few years ago, when the 2.2 pro class of crawlers was more popular and the shaft driven rigs weren’t competitive against the motor on axle rigs.
These days classes are a bit different, and I’m not sure what all the rules are other than most classes are more focused on a scale/ realistic looking rig and tire size than a sportsman class/rig that was made for pure performance rather than any sort of realism.
You said you're going to be doing 24th scale bro where do I find you on Instagram
24th scale would be the wise choice. Res concepts have nailed it with theirs
