    Give him another 2/3 years and he will be a phenomenon, outrageous potential

      @@ciaranhennessy7593 jury is still out on Ryan to be honest, up until the Autumn he has been anonymous since for club and Country since the six nations prior to the world Cup in 2019. Had a good autumn though in fairness, Has picked up a lot of concussion aswell but as things stand I think Beirne and Henderson have been outstanding the last 9 months. Future is bright anyway in the lock position, I think Thomas Ahern in Munster is going to have a major say in the years ahead aswell.

      @@paulgormley5010 There's an embarrassment of talent both playing at top level already and coming through and it's difficult to predict the future but the physical attributes of this guy are just scary. Whatever happens Ireland will be well stocked at lock for the foreseeable future that's for sure

    He’s already a pretty complete second row, has the brute force to go with the X factor but is also very technically good which you can see from the line out steals as-well as ball skills

    Baird has best player in the world potential. He'll make James Ryan look bad... Him and Doris seem like the future of Ireland

  • @Dreyno

    He has an aggressive streak that most of our locks don’t have. Henderson when he’s riled maybe. Hopefully he doesn’t end up putting on too much muscle and losing the freakish athleticism.

    • @cpcampbell3
      @cpcampbell3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Think that’s already happened, gone the James Ryan route and focused on physicality rather than natural gifts.

    An utterly frightening prospect, pretty much the complete package. And still so young. As for that first clip 👌👍👍😄🤣😎.

    Can't wait to see Ryan Baird in full flight versus England on Saturday, this guy has got grand slam quality written all over him...Go Ryan, grasp this chance for glory with both hands!

      It's seldom we see a huge second row player, who appears to be faster than any backs on the pitch. This guy is the real deal, roll on Saturday at the Aviva with starter Ryan Baird & James Ryan pairing off as Irelands second row🎯🏉🏆

    Great player but I think he's gonna be another victim to the Leinster conveyor belt of talent. Lot of very good players coming through & not getting near enough game time. Baird is way too talented to be coming off the bench, he's a definite starter. Would love to see him move to Munster & partner up with Ahern in the second row 😉😉😉🤣🤣. Harry Byrne is another player on the same boat. Doesn't get enough game time.

    • @symeremeyers4148
      @symeremeyers4148 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Leinster have James Ryan and Moloney ahead of Baird, but Baird will overtake Moloney next season so why would he move to Munster when he’s gonna get game time at Leinster ?
      Who do you think will start ahead of him ? Josh Murphy ?

    • @bejaysus7388
      @bejaysus7388 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@symeremeyers4148 I'm just he's good enough to start at the moment ahead of Moloney. I'd even pick him before James Ryan, call me daft but I think he offers more than them.

      @@bejaysus7388 i agree, James Ryan is improving compared to las season where he didn’t have that much impact but baird is mobile, has an engine comparable to Josh Vdf’s and is a menace in rucks and in open play. He is probably Leinster’s best prospect

    • @Poppillon
      @Poppillon 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      He'll definitely get game time in Leinster! And if he doesn't it's because he's not playing well enough... but it's in Leinster's interest to develop the top prospects so they won't neglect him
