  • In 2000, the Vancouver Aquarium decided not to display killer whales which were being used to teach the public about the magnificent creatures. Their last remaining whale, Bjossa was shipped to the U.S. as she was without a mate. She died at Seaworld in October of 2001 from a lung infection at the age of 25.

      The wild is the only place a orca belongs .
