I just tried mine out with this plus your 5 tips video. I ended up taking 3 links out so that it fit snugly on my waist (parallel to the floor) then shortened the rope by half ( as you had it on your waist). Worked perfectly. It felt like it would spin endlessly 🎉🎉🎉

I was going to return mine, but I will give it one more try. This looks like somebody's nightmare! Edit: I did return it, I spent way too much time trying to make it work and never figured it out.

I had to grease the track because the ball would get stuck. After I did that it was much smoother and I could get it to go around.
