Breath of fresh air. No scheming mistresses, no torture, inhumane parents or in-laws, no missing children switched at birth that can be proven by either same allergies, jade pendant, or birth mark, no hidden identities, no long dialogues of extras, no banquet, no auction, no forced/contractual marriages - - - just a normal story of normal people. 2 thumbs up!
I love this one. Such a new concept. The productions quality is really really good. ML, FL, zizi and ML's friend (who is also his assistant) all played their roles well. I love how limited the cast and characters are yet the scenes never felt boring. The flow of the story is smooth and neat. The story was solid and sticked to the concept till the end. The chemistry and dynamic between the characters are good. The progression of the relationship between FL and ML felt natural. I was so happy of the fact that there's no SML, SFL(green teas, non main lead childhood sweethearts, hidden fiancé/fiancée, first loves and white moonlights) issues. And the plot twist is crazyyyyyy, it was just like I imagined it would be. Special thanks to FL's brother and ML's sister, without them main leads story won't even have started
I enjoyed seeing this ML moving up to higher grade productions. The FL lead gave a solid performance as well. The little boy is age appropriate for the role too. I would like to see all of my favorite actors move up to dramas with better production budgets and improved stories.

I know I should take dramas with a grain of salt even if this is a much better overall production but can anyone explain the parents' death scene reveal? *Spoilers So the death scene that haunts the ML throughout his life is more clearly shown when the villain is revealed. In the reveal it is shown that the ML's parents take the Respirator? from the villain's father and give it to their son and tell their daughter to run with the boy and escape the building. OK, unethical behavior but then they also hold the man down so he cannot pursue and thereby killing him and themselves in the fire. How does this make sense? Even if they wanted to save their son at all costs (why do all families here have one respirator?) they gave the respirator to the son but then they kill themselves with the man so that he cannot grab the respirator? If they had even allowed a few minutes for the kids to escape but then allowed themselves all to follow would have made more sense even if they all later perished due to the delay. Like if a beam fell blocking all their paths. In this scene it looks like they are just killing themselves to prevent the man from escaping at all costs which is just ...mental. Of course the man was on the phone with his son as this all happened and the son was able to fully understand exactly what happened to hold a grudge which is also a bit odd, but more believable for me than the parents just holding the man down so none can escape. Did I miss something? Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this drama overall and to be honest it's just that these types of things confuse me. Then again even with the movie Titanic my thought as the ML falls unconscious from the cold and sinks into the water ....if the FL had just let herself be saved earlier he would have been able to concentrate on himself and might have been saved too. Her refusal to leave him put him in the situation he had to keep saving her and couldn't save himself.
