So. I subscribed some couple year ago I think. But recently I was suggested a page on Facebook. I'm not a musician or a singer, I just love that I can play my guitar. It's my inner peace. The Facebook page is amazing. I now have a comfort zone where I can share videos, and learn new songs from like minded. People. My mate, who I have just started jamming with, spoke about a lad on TH-cam who taught him all of his music, he then went on to say, "it's Pete, the one from the Facebook page I linked you to" ... I was amazed to see it was you. The same guy I'd been getting help from via TH-cam. (I thought your name was George lol) I've got to give a massive thank you. For all your help over the last couple of years, and an even bigger thank you for your Facebook community page. I think this guy is fantastic, the strumming pattern should come naturally if you know the song, its quite hard to teach strumming patterns, its probably different every time Noel plays any of his songs, play what you feel is right.
Another great tutorial. Just wondered what gauge strings you use. I like the sound you get from your guitar. I use extra light as ive always preffered them. Do you use heavier strings? Thanks :)

Pete, I'm a beginner and really struggle going from c,Fmaj7,Am shapes to standard G and D shapes etc. I've played the song thru but once in the A7 shape I find it tricky finding the 2nd string first fret again so I keep it on through out and play a G on that second chord after the A7 instead of moving down the fret board using the Fmaj shape all the while keeping my index finger the that 2nd string first fret. Can I get away with this??? Same goes for the D chord, I play a Dsus

You posted this tutorial 13years ago and I've just used it to learn how to play this classic.. Thankyou as per Yr lessons are always spot on.
The intro of this song was one of the first things that I learn years ago, but I forget , now thanks to your video I can play this song again!
