I just bought a 1998 Electra glide standard with 24k miles for $3800 I'm putting in new tires, exhaust, wisco pistons, ev27 cam. Making her a fast long haul bike. Cant beat a evo engine!

Nice, that will be a killer bike. I just picked up a cheap 98 Dyna with a built S&S 96" Evo motor for super cheap. I love them!
@@OctaneElectrons I don't know why somebody don't buy several instead of a new 35k harley ?????
Is that a seat off of a newer bike
Yes it was, but I don't recall what model.
May I ask how you got a street glide seat on there?
I bought the bike with that seat on it, it fit fine. Sorry not sure!
Okay because I got 2003 Electra glide classic and I tried putting it on and it didn’t fit
its that little piece on the tank under the front of the seat u can get it for 30 bucks through harley
@@aaronknowles562 would you know the part number for that ?

Do you have a radio for it>?
Yes it had a head unit in it.
What seat is that ?
If I remember right, it was a Harley seat. I have a picture of the part number somewhere, I'll try to find it.
Street glide seat with the tank spacer
Whats seat do you have?
It was a Harley seat, I don't recall the part number or what model it was from sorry.
I want to purchase an older Harley Electra Glide. However, I'm concerned about Carburetors vs. Fuel Injection. Anybody have Any input ?
7drakkar1 just need extra time warming up on carb rather than instant on injected bike

cant go wrong either way. I have a 98 FLHT with carb and a 98 with injection . I like the carb a little better
Fuel injection was not great in the 90's at all. Would definitely recommend a carbed bike if you are going with an evolution motor.
