Scottish is a different dialect but there is a language in Scotland called Scots which is used to be considered a dialect but now considered an entirely seperate language, although it is largely understandable to English speakers when spoken clearly. scottish ain’t a different language. some scottish and irish people speak gaelic, but most speak english. some people from Wales speak Welsh but a lot of us from Wales, including me, can speak a bit of Welsh but 99% of the time speak english. especially if your from south Wales. the 4 countries: england, scotland, northern ireland and Wales all mainly speak english but there’s a lot of accents throughout the UK. ireland aren’t in the UK but also majorly speak english. hope this helps.

I stayed in Scotland for a couple years, Scottish people speak English but have a HEAVY accent, they also speak Gaellic over there (sounds like some viking shit when you hear it) which is their native language but its less common.
