Captain Raghu Raman served in the Indian armed forces for 12 years. He's a trained commando and has even been a part of the Indian army's duties on International soil (Angola).
After his stint in the army, he began his tenure working with the Indian government and went on to become the CEO of the National Intelligence Grid.
Post which his corporate journey began with Mahindra & Reliance Industries. He ended up becoming the President of Reliance Industries for Risk, Security and New Ventures.
In 2019, Captain Raghu quit his corporate stint and began to work as a motivational speaker. He also teaches Leadership, Analytics and communication in leading business schools and is also a columnist of the leading business newspaper, ‘The Mint’.
In today's episode, Captain Raghu talks to us about his stories from the time in the army - Right from his days training in the defense academy to his days spent in Siachen to his days spent as a part of the UN peacekeeping force. We went over topics such as the intense training in the army, dealing with war, ment fitness, spirituality in the army and much more.
Very few conversations on The Ranveer Show have had this kind of a lasting impact on my mind and heart. It's an honour to have hosted Captain Raghu on the show. It's an honour to bring out his story for our audiences.

54:49- the attitude to comprehend the fragility of life. My biggest takeaway from the podcast 🙏
can we acknowledge how the questions asked were equally good as the answers given!!
I think this type of content should be praised and spread rather than bollywood films😃😃
Agree with you bro for sure
Yes bro, totally It's a hell lot more interesting and knowledgeable than the so called knowledge films of bollywood or those so called inspired by true events films.
Stop comparing 2 things. These are totally different things. And it is not that easy to meet an Indian armed force official. It is a matter of luck
Yea
The soldier he’s talking about at the beginning was captn. sher khan. When most officers were retreating he fought bravely on that hill. An Indian CO wrote a note to award him with nishan e Haider & kept it in his pocket.
Yes that's the reason his brother respect the indian army
Respect
@prabhnoor Singh he was CO in Kargil war I think
Instead of fighting what if they bravely hug each other on the borders. There wont be any wars😂

I can sort of relate to atleast the cold of Siachen because I am living in a province of Canada where temperature drops below -40 in January. Salute to everyone who serves in Siachen! -40 degrees is no joke.

Thank you Ranveer and Beer Biceps team for sharing this valuable podcast. ❤️👍🏻
Captain Raghuraman is a good speaker. His podcast on introduction, body of the talk was excellent. He has some excellent qualities of giving good feedback. He also spoke on the HR skills which has to be incorporated in the Corporate World. His passion is really captivating, especially when he spoke of the 1984 riots.
I am very impressed with him as a speaker, his fluency ,and command of English is unsurpassed by his counterparts. He would be a great asset to any upstart business ,his energy level is contagious. If I ever wanted to start a business in Bharat he would be one of my first hires.
Very nice
