@@grabbag6314 my early twin cam is carb .No fancy electronics, no Alarm fob ,no fob starting .Just key in.the tank ign ,turn on and start.Plus the early twin cams were solid crank and unbeatable Timken bearings .I think 2004 on they were fuel inj ,split crank and no more Timken bearings.
I used to come home from work sometimes real early ( like 4 am ) and i always tried to cut the sound down as i came up the long road home. A guy i know who lives in my area said to me , John did you come home early on the Harley last week .I said yes did it disturb you or wake you up ?. He said no i thought i dreamed that purring sound , but it did not wake me up .lol

Yes , if you have one you cannot leave it unattended for a minute.Mine never leaves me.Also I never leave it on my drive for these scum bags who even if they see you with it on your drive they will come back and try and take it .If I am not out on it ,its in.my garage with Fort Knox security.
i try to slow down in corners i cannot see around. i've come around corners to find a truck parked perpendicular across the entire road, as well a large sofa sitting in my lane and oncoming traffic in the other lane
