You are one of the best out there! I am not even a competitive guy and I barely play online but I enjoy the game and like to improve and these tips are awesome. I don’t play a lot online not only because of lack of confidence but because I don’t enjoy bad connection and I feel like even if I improve I don’t show my skill very well in a bad connection. Last year most of my wins were basically due to basic FIFA, defending properly and capitalizing on opponents tackling too much for easy goals but I don’t like this kind of gameplay and prefer squad battle and career mode. Nevertheless, I have managed to create a decent team with no money spent and only SBCs and squad battle rewards

I want to ask you something, in fifa 22 i used to use 4222 and using a lot the extra pass inside the area, now with same formation and instructions as Fifa 22, its really difficult to do it because my strikers get really closer of the defense and when i pass it gets itercepted. I want to know if this was patched or i just Need to change formation, instructions or number of players inside the area? I am literally finding it impossible to find passing options even when trying multiple different formations etc. i wouldn’t say im a great player or anything, but i have been getting destroyed this year and its absolutely infuriating

Should i use the training ground and master the skills, then play online. It will be a challenge as I’m doing a no money spent team. I was used to play the trough ball in fifa 22 by stabbing triangle twice, but in fifa 23 the defenders seem to catch up always. Feels like the defenders are overpowered, attackers feel slow while speed is about 85. I thought I had to just accept and adapt a different style...however online I notice my defenders can't catchup with some fifa players. I use marquinhos and varane...Maybe it's the defending, I will try your techniques shown in your defending tutorial. But I'd like to know how to attack using through ball passes without being catched by the defenders all the time. Edit: just seen you advice L1+R1 and triangle, will try that!
Is it important in which direction you start the steopver to get the speed boost? like with right footed players begin with stick to bottom and exit by going to the right and the opposite with legt footed?
when using the classic camera why can i not do moves like the rainbow and scoop turn unless i’m goin towards the middle of the pitch or sideways? it doesn’t allow me to do it moving forward
Online its set to competitive master switch regardless, wich disable all of these things, the reason they do is the realistic touches players make this year under pressure

Run down the wing pass across goal, tap in. Nearly every goal on fifa is scored this way
