This man's voice does stuff to me... It's like nothing I've ever heard. Why isn't this band more popular? Like seriously...
Well, for now in 2018, they are popular already. I've discovered them 6 years ago. Good to see they have been many times in European/USA/Japan tour. Moreover they signer were the special guest on Chester Bennington "Music funeral" and sang one of Linkin Park song.

I am genuinely surprised One OK Rock have never done any music for anime. They've done music for games but never anime.
My assumption is either they aren't interested or that their asking price is very high. Perhaps a combination of both.
How has this song not been made into an anime opening?

This song feels like I'm talking to myself. I want to be a mangaka, not just any mangaka, I want to be one of the best someday. My goal is to tell a magnum opus level story. I however am not the most reliable in regards to my habits, skill, and discipline. When I listen to songs like this, it fires me up. It feels like I'm talking to myself, or rather, it's more like the me that I want to be is talking to the me that exists, persuading me to try the best I can and constantly seek to improve. I am a dreamer, I dream a lot, vivid dream, normal dream, daydream, have dreams with stories that intertwine, and I fantasize. I think about the kind of person I want to be quite a bit. Needless to say this leaves me in my head a lot. With goals as ambitious as mine, I must admit that I am easily discouraged, as well as easily distracted. So it's not difficult for me to get frustrated with my perceived lack of skill and move on to something else. I will say though, that I am very stubborn. I have this feeling that I can get what I want out of life, even moving at my slow pace, as long as I don't stop. As long as I don't give up. Listening to this song and songs like it reminds me that I am that stubborn kid that wants to prove those guys wrong. I have these great ambitions and I will accomplish them.

Whenever I was reading the Dragonball manga, I would play this song because it made sense. ONE OK ROCK and specifically this track were just so DBZ coded, still are.
