Pretty cool to watch. I used to spend summers at my grandfolks in Walnut Ridge in the early 70s. I spent countless hours playing around these tracks and watching the Mo-pacs and the Friscos speed by day and night nonstop.
Yeah, that's what I read so I was surprised too. They seem to have barely any sidings on that line, or it could be that they're way further apart cause of how flat it is.
Is there a sequence pattern as to when they use their horn, does it get shorter the closer they get to crossing? New to watching train spotting. I like it 👍

The vibration on the ground from the trains is so hard that it's shaking the camera...lol
Nice video! Love the diamond slamming and the pacing shots!
Thanks! Those were some of the coolest parts of the trip for sure.
That was awesome, specially the pacing shots and congrats for the 1K.👍

10:50 NICE NICE chug coming from CP 8768
surprised you saw a few SBs on the Hoxie. It is directional running in Arkansas for the most part so hoxie is primarily Nbs

There’s actually a lot of southbound traffic on this line

Yeah there is, it's 2 long horn blasts, one short, and one more long. Thanks for watching!
