Bought my first MA doll today. A vintage hard plastic 14" Beth doll with strawberry blonde hair, undergarments, full slip and original black shoes & socks - no dress. Can't wait till she arrives.
Honestly I was never particularly a fan of the Madame Alexander dolls (probably due to flashbacks of that Sex & the City episode...!) but it was the ‘Mystery Ladies of Fashion’ dolls that were shown a couple of years ago that got me intrigued. Very excited to now see a whole auction dedicated to these beautiful dolls! 😍
These are not the dolls we played with - these are show dolls. i'd like to see some that were actually meant to be played with. i still have some of mine and boy were they played with LOL
Lovely to be able to see and learn about these wonderful dolls, thank you!
I own one Cissy doll and i love her. These dolls remind me of an era i wanted to grow up in. Such beautiful dresses and such elegance to them.

Please name the people that were part of Madame's company! The Broadway wig guy, the hat guy etc. I need to learn about the people who made my dolls!
