The fake suffle pancakes! Seriously, why are you still doing those, everyone knows they come out either burned or raw with the way they're made here. Also, why in the world did ya not whip the flour lumps out of the pancake batter on the first one? Just, you could see big flour lumps

Genius baker over here.. If the flour is all absorbed then you’ve overmixed the batter and the pancakes will be chewy.

A producer from tasty spoke about this in a video. They leave pockets of flour in so the pancakes are more fluffy and not so chewy.

@@JulesJukes Okay, but why not just whip up the eggs first to a nice froth and get the airy texture from the eggs? That's what I do, no pockets of flour that is left behind to be popped and not mixed in. Flour chewing isn't any nicer.
