I do not provide that level of detail in the tutorials. What I recommend is selecting the cover (inside and out) and setting it aside as it will be 1/2 larger than the pocket pages. Following that select the base page patterns and cut them which will leave you with one 12 x 4 and one 8 x 4 strip that can be used for the flaps. This album has (12) 6 x 4 horizontal flaps and (10) 4 x 6 vertical flaps so when trimming the 12 x 12 think about what orientation you want the 12 x 4 strip which can be split to (2) 6 x 4 pieces to be used to cover the flaps.
