Rather that take her eldest to Korea first, knowing at the moment its not the best as comfortable living goes.Bit she chose to leave her in America with her grandparents while she sets up home.So when the time comes to take her eldest to Korea she hopefully will have started to make a settled enough life there for her two,I've heard its now soon to be 3 kids to flourish in there new lifestyle.So don't you agree she's made a descent decision to leave her eldest at home.Just till she can offer her the best chance where all her kids and Deavan will grow and flourish in.If you follow her journey closely it devastated Deavan to leave her eldest at home.She knows she is safe, well and loved we're she is.So it's less of a worry for her mother to think about.Im sure she is counting the days down when they will all be together as a family.And God willing, all blessed and healthy.

I had to get correct info from FACEBOOK of all places. Another foreign spouse emailed her local embassy in Finland and they said "Ask your Korean husband to email us." So he did. And copied and pasted her email 🤣 To get an answer, she had to call the local KOREAN AMBASSADOR that she somehow randomly knew. Korean bureaucracy is a shit show. They don't keep anyone in any position long enough to actually learn anything before 'rotating' them. So even if she doesn't know the visa stuff Jihoon still doesn't have a job or an apartment so at least He could give her some reassurance on the Visa besides everything is going to be okay (even thought that is helpful).
She could also do this research herself to double check if she’s having second thoughts about the information he’s giving her. I don’t know about you but my moms always told me to never wait around for anybody, so if that means she has to do shit herself she better do it. I had to get correct info from FACEBOOK of all places. Another foreign spouse emailed her local embassy in Finland and they said "Ask your Korean husband to email us." So he did. And copied and pasted her email 🤣 To get an answer, she had to call the local KOREAN AMBASSADOR that she somehow randomly knew.

It is a Korean thing. Not right, but 'normal' here. Especially his idea with splitting them up if they die. His child is "Korean" and should be raised "Korean" but Drascilla will always be a "foreigner". It drives me up the wall but I know of other mixed families where the Korean dad treats the older kids really well and pushes for his family to accept them as equal. It is slowly changing.
Also, before, many parents would just leave their kids behind when getting divorced. I'm happy to say that is also finally changing. Many ex-couples are splitting custody and coparenting
