Im not mark wood. This was so on point. My neighbors dog is featured in some of my recordings, and yes the effects depend on volume, speed and everything in between. By the way i don't know my neighbors dog's name but i call him capitan and that probably going to be the name of my album.

Thanks very much for a great demo. I realize I have never explored the whole range of any effect against different bowings. I will just wait until my wife is out of the house, I think.

How can I dial in a lower octave tone? I want my violin to sound like a cello for "O Come Emmanuel." (Cello guys) The octave setting in the compression efx 1 still gives the upper octave. Any ideas to just get the lower octave?

I think you'll have to monkey with the knobs to find which one is allowing your upper octave to come through. I don't have an ME 80 in front of me right now. But I know the pitch shifter in the mod section will work.

I know this is 9 months late but is there a wet/dry knob? Or balance knob? Dry is the unprocessed signal, wet is the processed signal. All the way to dry just plays the original, all the way to wet plays the octave effect only. Somewhere in between mixes both signals.
