      Hi the reason i strap the pedal down is to prevent having to bleed the brake after the switch has been changed. Have faith in yourself you will do it 💪

    Do I need to bleed the brakes afterward?

    • @Teamloco1853
      @Teamloco1853  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Not with this method as i locked the foot brake down so no air was allowed back in the system. But always check after if your brake doesnt feel right then bleed it.

    I have a 2011 heritage my brake light keeps coming on randomly and stays on until I tap the rear pedal then it goes off but comes back on about 3 mins later without touching anything ….is that why you changed this?

      Yea this can be a known fault ive seen it plenty of times. Also ive seen the total opposite where the bulb will not light at all when brake is pressed but the switch acts as if it is working when you touch both terminals with a wire the bulb lights up.
