7:03.....Perfect lock-up and point. That's what my Britt does on a good scent. 7:43.....No phones in the field! 10:13...You take it; I got more birds to find! 11:26...I hate birds in the trees. Chest mount vs. head mount for cameras. 14:36....Quit looking at your wrist gps; we can't see because your hand is in the way! 19:04....Rule #1: The dog is always right. 23:41....NO FRAKIN PHONES IN THE FIELD!!! Looked like a good hunt. A lot heavier cover than when I was there before. Good guiding and great video. Especially with two cameras to give you different views of the same shots. Not so good when you put your hand up to check your wrist GPS; you completely blocked the view of the camera. You might try a head mount instead of the chest mount you used. I put my phone in airplane mode when I'm in the field; you might want to tell your clients to do the same. Just my opinion. Overall looked like a great first weekend. Hope to get there later this year after the cover gets beat down a little more.
Thank you for your comments! It was a good weekend. And you will be seeing more hunting videos. The first call was Brad calling from the clubhouse to check on everyone. Always have to answer The Boss! The GPS watch, the guides hunting vest and the camera set up are all new this year. Now that we know that searching for the dog locked on point in that tall cover blocked the shot, we are working on new techniques to keep the good footage coming. Keep watching!
Do you ave any hold over or wild birds on that property ?
