Thank you for your enjoyable reaction video. So many Whitney Houston wannabes and their grandmothers covered this song. Most of them shout it as loud as they can to penetrate your ears. Angelina sings it with so much emotions that engulfs your heart and penetrates your soul. Whitney was 28 when she first performed this song. I can’t even imagine how Angelina will sound when she is 28.
Worth every penny for sure! I saved for some time before I was able to travel with my wife from Alaska to Las Vegas to see Celine. Tickets for the show were $200.00 each and money well spent. You bet I'd do it all again to see Angelina.
Your review was music to my ears (pun intended) starting with your comment that you can't compare Whitney and Angelia because "they are both amazing singers." At this level, each performance stands on its own. Whitney's performances of this song are permanent fixtures in the music world and are impossible to copy. But there is plenty of room for Angelina to add her rich and jazz-influenced interpretation, and her complex riffs in between her sultry/rich belting, and she as well would be extremely hard to copy. Angelina stays true to herself and brings her own emotions into this song. When she belts "don't make me close one more door," it seems like a plea, a longing. When Whitney belts this, it's like a command (in a good way). Of course, these are only my feelings I get from their performances and everyone will react differently.

For her July 10 concert in Norway, people came traveling from all over the US (including Hawaii), NZ, the UK, Italy, Germany and other countries. I myself spent three weeks sailing the coasts of Denmark, Sweden and Norway to be in Sandefjord on time for the event (which you could very much call a holiday with a purpose!). It was worth every minute and every penny (or crown).
