Watching you exploring and brainstorming helped me to come up with plot developments for my own story that's not even a ghost story but ofc belongs to our lovely gothic/horror. xD Thank you for sharing your inspiring content with us!
15 minute gap is probably why you wanna do this kind of thing on a live stream that way you could have the audience bounce ideas off of you - if you're just doing it for fun
It depends on the size of your subplot and the length of your book! I'd say my books have around 2-4. I don't count things like character arcs as subplots but still track them using my plot grids to figure out how the characters are going to change. I also don't count small threads or mentions of little things as subplots. Examples of subplots I include are like, girl finds out she's developing powers, romantic subplot, etc. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the feedback! This sounds like a fun idea
There's an insane amount of valuable info in here! I'm gonna have to come back and watch this every time I start writing a new book XD
Oh I'm so glad! Yay!
I’m working on a ghost story!
That's so awesome! I hope you're having fun with it, I love writing about ghosts :)
Thanks!
Love these types of videos you make!
I'm so glad you enjoy them!
Great content Claire! Your videos help me stay motivated to keep writing. How many subplots is too many for a novel in your opinion?

Are your books on Kobo?
No, currently my ebook is exclusive on Amazon, but my physical books are on B&N, Amazon, BookDepository, and more!
