@amrob6812 it won't tell you the exact location unless you play a server with hat mod. If no mod it should say we're you are near at bottom right hand corner

What ar the little markers within the map? Black arrows red marks etc

In the field manual > gameplay > navigation > map legend. You can also see it on the map that comes with the Steam deluxe edition.
