This video feels nostalgic, I remember the launch of amiibo like it was yesterday.
It was a cold day, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Pokémon Omega Ruby were the main draw at Gamestop that day, but little did we know that one of the greatest products for shady resellers were making their entrance in the world of game collecting.

Technically it was only the first anniversary for the Wave 1 at the time (i.e. Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Kirby, etc.)
But at the time I’m commenting it doesn’t matter anyway because the second, third, and fourth DLC amiibo are already 2 years old :p
