I’m glad t see you have taken the constructive criticism from reviewers and made improvements to the hiveI would now consider buying one of these hives.
Are you guys still in business? Nice setup and I like the channel. Would love an update. I also sent a message via your FB page. Wishing you all the best in beekeeping!
I emailed them about a week ago 5/22/22 and got a reply in 24hrs. I asked about the flow frames fitting in their hives and she replied that wouldn't work. I love the bee house concept, as we had bears take out all 3 of our hives last fall. But I also love the flow hives. Trying to find a way to marry the two ideas.....
darnbunny1 We have our work table for $35, Floor stand for $50, frame packs of 10 for $21.99 and the hive price is $450 if you pick it up and $550 if you’re having it shipped to the Mainland 48 States. We are working on a couple of new accessories possibly to be available by the winter holidays. Videos on that when we are ready 😄
Excited to see the new design! Will the work table still fit into the newly designed bases? Want to bee adding to our hives, so I gotta save my pennies! :-) Thanks for the update!
what stops the bees from propolis the frames down, I can't see how you can just slide the frames out with out the frames being stuck to the front of hive,
the frame design itself. notice the curve on the top and bottom bar, and the way the frames rest on those 3 metal rods. Bees like to glue contacting surfaces so the AZ frame design combats this by reducing the points of contact- so you end up with only 6 small dots of propolis on the bottom of the frame and a strip on the front and back where it touches the frame spacers. easy enough to pop up/out with a hive tool if it builds up. This is why we do not recommend using Langstroth frames for permanent use in our hives. -Kylie

@@drebbievillehives1484 Is this frame packs same dimension like original Slovenian AZ hive ?
These hives seem to be of one fixed size. Is it possible to expand the hive as the colony population grows, or reduce the hive as it decreases?
Location and does this come as a complete hive box or knock down? Finally price?

Beverly Harding there’s a modified work table, but we can help show you how to make one if you prefer.

Wish I was told in February and March when I bought two... that there was going to be an upgraded model. Very upsetting.
