With this group, they might win ten games. This team is absolutely horrible, coached by a guy who is absolutely clueless. Villanova is being stubborn insisting that Neptune can coach in the Big East. He can’t, and the program is self-destructing at a rapid pace. In the space of 3 years, it went from a place where everyone great considered playing, to a dead end road where second stringers fill seats. Brutal and unacceptable.

I’ve followed college basketball for a while now and for the past several years I’ve been a causal Villanova fan and a huge fan of the way Jay Wright’s teams always used to play. It’s truly sad to see what’s been happening to them since Wright retired. I can’t possibly think of a reason why Kyle Neptune wasn’t fired after the two seasons he just had but now he’s plagued the entire program to the point where they can’t get guys to commit either out of high school or in the portal. If Villanova keeps going on this trajectory they’ll end up like Georgetown did.
