As a Hyosung owner / enthusiast, I head up to Norcross from Florida from time to time to walk on holy ground. Any interest in doing a dual vlog next time I'm up that way.
Yeah I would definitely agree, maximum usable speed, and the question a lot of people don't think to ask, the cruising speed I would probably more towards the gt250, as it's supposed to have a more upright riding position from what I've heard You should have another video there roughly comprable motorcycles, so I would assume the gt250 would also be comfortable at 70?
Nice video brother I just ordered my aftermarket Dominator exhaust for my gd250r my stock muffler had a bad rattle to it like something broke loose inside the muffler or a rock got into it. Ride safe out there
Thank you for asnwering my question about if it would cruise at 70 to 75 mph. Been following your videos latley. And thanks for getting back to questions and addressing them in your videos
You should voice your opinions on random topics. You can talk about anything, I'll watch. If I'm not watching, I'm listening while driving to work. I don't know what it is about motorcycle videos, but I just love to watch them. I guess it's the first person experience of exploring the world. But for the topics, you can tell some of your stories and experiences throughout your life. Some people may enjoy it, some people may not. Can't satisfy everyone 🤙🤙
I sometimes tell stories. Lately I have really enjoyed making videos advocating for small displacement bikes. I just love them and I try to spread that love on youtube. It is pretty cool to see how many people have stepped forward to agree they secretly love them too.
@@MirrormaskMV People only want fast bikes just so they can boast about speed (140+ MPH) that they will never see unless they go to a special track. Tracks aren't free which means, they will be paying extra money to see the speed that they actually bought the bike for. *Mind blown* It's always great to do things that you love. It doesn't feel like a hassle to do and you have no problem with doing it. If you feel that you're getting exhausted, take a break from uploading so that it won't kill your energy for making vids
@@tonyhamilton7785 I literally Just got a comment on my vespa video asking me what the top speed of my vespa was. Lol, it is crazy how obsessed with top speed people are these days.
@@MirrormaskMV Is going super fast a tradition for motorcycles nowadays? That's why people consider them deadly because the number of riders doing stupid things and riding at insane speeds. To the guy asking about top speeds, you could respond with 'fast enough' Lol
I have a 2016 GT250R, and what I found out was that you have to change your idea of what is a normal riding style. If you depend on youtube to define this for you then small bikes lack passing power on the highway. But this is like telling someone that you will need a Corvette to drive comfortably on the highway. Chances are if traffic is moving at 70-80mph you're not going to need to pass anybody. Actually, I get excited when traffic is moving slower(55-65mph) because that means I get better gas mileage and I'm not getting blown around on the highway. So in conclusion a 250cc Hyosung is just fine on the highway, and for the price is better at being a small bike than most small bikes, but as a small bike, it is terrible at being a big bike(driving style) even though it looks like one.
Would this bike comfortably do 70mph for a couple hours? I am looking into this bike for a cheap commuter and maybe do some (extremely) light touring within the state.
It isn’t an uncomfortable bike. But if you want to ride for hours at a time, I would change out the grips for some vibration dampening ones. There is a little vibration in the bars, not much, but over several hours you would feel it
@@Zack-rm3xn Yes $2000 is a good price. 2017 is the newest of the GD250R they make. 648 miles is also barely even broken in so that is actually very low miles.
Mirrormask MV got one brand new a few weeks ago for $2300 out the door, your videos convinced me to get one. I already put 1200 miles on it and it’s a great bike so far.

Hey man im also from Ga, Cartersville to be exact. Ive been contemplating buying this bike until i watched your "break in" video which sold me on it. I only had a couple questions if you don't mind answering for me. I'm 6'5 160. Do you think i would be to tall to comfortably ride this? If so does wow have any larger hyosung in inventory for about the same price? And you also said they have plenty of these as of August 2019? Today is Nov 4th 2019. And this is great review man. They should hire you on to sell these cause you def sold me on it lol. Also what part of ga you in? I used to live in Cochran [bleckley county] close to dublin. Thanks man.
Thanks for the comment. I will say at 6’5 you will be kinda cramped, but I have good news. Wow also carries the Hyosung GT250R which is a larger body bike. Around the same price. If you go to wow, ask for James and tell him Mirrormask sent you there to check out the GT250R. James will take care of ya.
Ok cool thanks man. Im def gonna check them out. Crazy thing is im actually looking online for hyosung bikes on fb marketplace and came across your bikes and your fb page lol. If i had 2500$ right now i would come buy yours but i still have a little saving to do first. Thanks for the feedback man and i will be subscribing to your channel.
I have the same bike the top speed is 100 I debent on your weight and your position when riding cuz the air hold you back but if use sport position you will get it to h 💯 One love for hyosung and I love your videos driver save brother
It was a great bike, I never had any issues with it. I sold it a few months ago. Nothing wrong with it, just was not riding as much lately. Not sure what my next bike will be when I get back into riding again
Yeah I was doing hell of reviews on these bikes but just decided to wait on it ... but yeah dude it’s been either too cold or rainy so I haven’t rode in a while
There's a place called flykitty in sullivan county ny that's selling brand new 0 mile hyosungs for 2200 bucks. Dude just wants to get rid of them. Google it, he's probably less than a handful of hours from you, but they're CHEAP. I have to talk myself out of buying one almost daily.
hows the riding position for the bike and do they make riser's for the handlebars just in case you would want a more upright position. Thanks and love the videos
Very aggressive riding position but the Hyosung Gd250r has the ez suit system which allows our to change the ride position. The footpegs can be moved forward and there is a handlebar adjustment set that you can put on it
I had a chance to ride one in the stock configuration and one with the factory upgrade to a more upright riding position. they offer a replacement upper triple tree that raises the clip on's to above the upper yoke instead of below. I found this set up to be more comfortable while still allowing me to position my weight over the controls to provide effective counter steering. I prefer the latter. I own a 2016 Hyosung GT 650 naked so I feel more comfortable in a more upright position.
I have a serious question. I live in NY and there’s a company here in NY selling brand new out of the box hyosung gd250r for 2,899. That doesn’t matter but the problem is this dealership is 3 1/2 hours away from where I live in NY. Am I able to drive a motorcycle 3 1/2 hours without damaging it or over heating it? If I have to take a break and let it cool down how long would I do that for? Please if someone knows let me know please
Mirrormask MV thank you for responding. Also, the place I was talking about is an actual motorcycle company but does 2,899 dollars for a 2017 gd250r 0 miles sound right to you?
