I feel so lucky he found me 3 months ago and i was baptised with the holy spirit and fell down, all demons left and i had the peace of god, a few weeks later the fear of the lord came to live in me and i had a vision of Jesus and god spoke to me telling me to follow Jesus . Then i felt the almighty power and magnificence of god. Now my life has changed so much , God is first now i hope to find new friends now. God is real he lives ,he is almighty.
He chooses them 1 from a thousand, 2 from 10,000. I searched for him but I did not find him...it was He who found me! It is only the spirit which can move the soul :)
Too many people who claim they are Christians watch popular television shows, have very worldly conversations, are registered Democrats (which means you believe in gay marriage, abortion, legal marijuana, etc.), partake in crude jokes, listen to secular music, and basically compromise the Word of God because they think they are already saved. They call themselves "Christians". They even think it's okay to be in a monogamous sexual relationship outside of marriage. True repentance and love means you turn away from the flesh and your sins, and walk with Christ completely. It really is all or nothing. You can't serve two masters.. Thank you brother. Jesus is truly speaking through you.

Keep seeking the face of God pray that he would reveal himself to you through the holy spirit. Confess to others that Jesus is Lord! Be not of the world when in the world. Reject what your flesh wants and do what the spirit wants. As I type this to you I am convicted of my own faults, I pray for both of us.

Hi. I hope that this 'preacher' has not bothered you. Salvation is simply knowing Jesus Christ. It is a friendship with God. Do not worry about your sins; if you know Jesus Christ, you will be 'begging' God (in a very fun way, because I am so happy in Christ!) to know Him more and to have your rotten character changed. My sins, past, present, and future, have been cleansed by the blood of Christ. I have total freedom to do anything, anything I want; that is because I know and love Christ and my greatest desire is to do my Father's will. I hope you will get to know Christ. It is as simple as asking!

The problem is that we have a heart of unbelief. God has promised. The question is, will we trust feelings or in the Word of God? It is having the attitude of saying, "God, I accept your offer of knowing you, of having the joy of the Lord, of having a taste of heaven." Yet, do not strive, worry, or panic. Be cool and trust that God will keep His Word. In the meantime, think of what makes a great friendship. Talk to God from your heart. By the way, 'striving' has nothing to do with salvation, as salvation is simply a friendship with God. First, know that, if you have prayed, but have not received the filling of the Holy Spirit, it is because our hearts are so deceitful! We are like the hard-hearted Jews of the Old Testament, "They draw near with their lips, but their hearts are far from me." All that's needed is to realize that, if you do not have total peace with God, simply ask Him to help you want it. Then thank Him - as if it is already accomplished. The promises of God are sure. For example, thank God for Romans 8.16 in your life - total assurance that you are saved. That is the promise of God! All the best to you and yours!

From your comment, you must have heard me say that it is ok to argue with God - just know He is right and you are wrong. In fact, I am more relaxed around God than with anyone else. With other people, I may hurt their feelings. However, with God, I know that if I say something that is off, He will gently correct me. We are best buddies. Thank God for His wonderful patience with me. May I remember God's love and patience so that I am always, always patient with others. Jesus Christ is the light of the world.

Some people take issue with what you say that some believers do not have the Holy Spirit because they have not obeyed. I do agree with you. See Matt 18:8 “. “If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to ENTER INTO LIFE lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to ENTER INTO LIFE with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.”
No. Salvation is not by obeying the Commandments. Please read the book of Galatians and Acts 15. Everything is lawful for those who believe. The question is friendship with God. John 17.3 Romans 8.16. It is impossible to be saved without know Christ personally.

Unbelievers cannot receive the Holy Spirit and many believers also do not receive the Holy Spirit. The reason is that they do not really believe. They have not accepted Jesus Christ and they do not OBEY Him. Jesus Christ promised the Holy Spirit to all those who believe in Him and who OBEY Him. I read from John 14:12 Jesus said:“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17that is the Spirit of truth, WHOM THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you." Jesus Christ Himself is the SPIRIT and those who have accepted Him and who have received the Holy Spirit have the Spirit of Christ in them. Jesus was speaking to His disciples and He was explaining to them that He was there with them and that He would be IN them once He had departed, ascended to heaven and sent the Holy Spirit to be IN them. That happened on the day of Pentecost (Acts 1,2) when the Holy Spirit was given. I read further from verse 18“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19“After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also. 20“In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you." Those who have received the Holy Spirit know that Jesus Christ and the Father are ONE. They can SEE Him. They are of the same Spirit because He is also IN them. Those who have not received the Holy Spirit neither hear Him nor do they see Him. They cannot receive Him because they do not believe Him and they do not obey Him, they have not accepted Him. We read from verse 21:“He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” Those who have accepted Jesus Christ OBEY Him and He gives His Holy Spirit IN them. He reveals Himself IN them and TO them, He DISCLOSES Himself to them and that is why they KNOW Him. That is why the world does not know Him, because they reject Him, they have not accepted Him. They do not OBEY Him. Many believers also do not obey Him and that is why they do not KNOW Him. They do not know His VOICE and they do not follow Him. 22Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24“He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me." Those who love Jesus Christ OBEY His words, the words that He taught, that He spoke, the gospel of Jesus Christ that which was recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Those who truly believe in Him and who have accepted Him live according to those words and Jesus Christ reveals Himself to them. Him and the Father come and abide with them. His Spirit comes and lives IN them, the Holy Spirit. God is with them and God is IN them, His Spirit dwells IN them. We read from verse 25“These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. 26“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He WILL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, AND BRING TO YOUR REMEMBRANCE ALL THAT I SAID TO YOU." Jesus Christ was physically leaving His disciples. He would be crucified, resurrected and leave their presence when He ascended to heaven but He promised His Holy Spirit to be IN and with them, His very own presence, not only to them but to all those who would believe after hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Those who would accept Him and obey Him, He would give His Spirit IN them . He would reveal Himself to them, disclose Himself to them. The would HEAR Him, they would SEE Him and they would be able to FOLLOW Him, they would be His DISCIPLES, His BODY, the Body of Christ who are ONE with Jesus Christ. They would be lead by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ IN them. Those who do not have the Spirit of Christ do not belong to Him, even though they have a Bible, even though they belong to a church, even though they believe that they are saved, even though they believe they have eternal life. If you do not have the Spirit of Christ and if you are not lead by the Spirit of Christ then you are not one of His sheep, you do not belong to Him. The apostle Paul wrote in Romans 8:14 "those who are being lead by the Spirit of God they are the children of God" they are the sons of God. Not just those who believe but those who HAVE the Spirit and who are LEAD by the Spirit, they are the Body of Christ, they are of the kingdom of God. The obey Jesus Christ and they follow Him every day. They are in communion, in relationship with Him. Do you have the Spirit of Christ? Have you received the Holy Spirit? Do you follow and obey Him? In Acts ch.19 Paul met certain disciples that were believers but hadn't recieved the Holy Spirit. He baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ. Then he layed hands on them until they recieved the Holy Spirit. How did he know that they had ? Because they spoke in " tongues". The word "tongues" in the N.T.s original language means " another language" one spiritual tongue or language.( 1Cor.14:2) Find an apostolic church and have them lay hands on you and pray with you until you receive.

Millions and millions of professing Christians in the world haven't recieved the Holy Spirit because they have been falsely told that when they hear and believe the gospel message that they recieved the Holy Spirit right then. That's not what the scriptures say. Look at Acts ch.19, Paul asks some disciples, "Have you recieved the Holy Spirit since you believed?" They were obviously believers in the gospel message but hadn't recieved the Holy Spirit yet ! The word " recieve", in the N.T. original Greek means " to take hold of". Saul( Paul) obviously believed the gospel message after seeing and speaking with Jesus on the road to Damascus but still he prayed for three days and fasted. Then Ananias told him, "Why tarriest thou? Arise and be baptized calling on the name of the Lord". Why would he be calling on the Lord at that point ? To receive the Holy Spirit.

Then read the Bible, everyday so you can learn the qualities of God and walk in obedience. The book of Mathew in the New Testament is a great place to start. We do not receive the Spirit through obedience. Obedience is a result of having the Spirit. It is God who calls and it is God who gives Grace. It is God that gives us faith. It is God that does His works through us. It has very little to do with our will. It is all Gods will according to His purpose.

But when I started reading holy Bible and listening to Pentecostal Church Gospel messages, I got to know the truth and the meaning of salvation and understand the seriousness of living a holy life. Accordingly I repented and took water baptism in a different church last year in the month March 2018. Since then, I can see myself my character has changed and I am so hungry for God always meditate on Scriptures. Now I want to tell the whole world that Jesus is Lord and he is the only way for SALVATION. I am in my 50s and house wife from India. Maybe I should wait to receive holy spirit. Please reply brother

Where is your joy? When we believe and receive Jesus we receive his joy and we obey his commands because we love him. We do not obey his commandments to escape hell. Jesus baptizes in the Holy Spirit, dear friend. You don't need anybody to lay hands on you. Repent and be baptized in water and then ask Jesus to baptize you in the Holy Spirit.
People that have received the Holy Spirit baptism can speak in tongues but it does not mean that they follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Many of them are full of demons also because they have turned away from Jesus and have gone back to sin.

I feel so lucky he found me 3 months ago and i was baptised with the holy spirit and fell down, all demons left and i had the peace of god, a few weeks later the fear of the lord came to live in me and i had a vision of Jesus and god spoke to me telling me to follow Jesus . Then i felt the almighty power and magnificence of god. Now my life has changed so much , God is first now i hope to find new friends now. God is real he lives ,he is almighty.
He chooses them 1 from a thousand, 2 from 10,000. I searched for him but I did not find him...it was He who found me! It is only the spirit which can move the soul :)

Too many people who claim they are Christians watch popular television shows, have very worldly conversations, are registered Democrats (which means you believe in gay marriage, abortion, legal marijuana, etc.), partake in crude jokes, listen to secular music, and basically compromise the Word of God because they think they are already saved. They call themselves "Christians". They even think it's okay to be in a monogamous sexual relationship outside of marriage. True repentance and love means you turn away from the flesh and your sins, and walk with Christ completely. It really is all or nothing. You can't serve two masters..

Keep seeking the face of God pray that he would reveal himself to you through the holy spirit. Confess to others that Jesus is Lord! Be not of the world when in the world. Reject what your flesh wants and do what the spirit wants. As I type this to you I am convicted of my own faults, I pray for both of us.

Do not worry about your sins; if you know Jesus Christ, you will be 'begging' God (in a very fun way, because I am so happy in Christ!) to know Him more and to have your rotten character changed. My sins, past, present, and future, have been cleansed by the blood of Christ.
I have total freedom to do anything, anything I want; that is because I know and love Christ and my greatest desire is to do my Father's will. I hope you will get to know Christ. It is as simple as asking!

The problem is that we have a heart of unbelief. God has promised. The question is, will we trust feelings or in the Word of God? It is having the attitude of saying, "God, I accept your offer of knowing you, of having the joy of the Lord, of having a taste of heaven." Yet, do not strive, worry, or panic. Be cool and trust that God will keep His Word.
In the meantime, think of what makes a great friendship. Talk to God from your heart. Remember, it is ok to argue with God; just remember you are wrong and He is right

First, know that, if you have prayed, but have not received the filling of the Holy Spirit, it is because our hearts are so deceitful! We are like the hard-hearted Jews of the Old Testament, "They draw near with their lips, but their hearts are far from me."
All that's needed is to realize that, if you do not have total peace with God, simply ask Him to help you want it. Then thank Him - as if it is already accomplished. The promises of God are sure.
For example, thank God for Romans 8.16 in your life - total assurance that you are saved. That is the promise of God!

In fact, I am more relaxed around God than with anyone else. With other people, I may hurt their feelings. However, with God, I know that if I say something that is off, He will gently correct me. We are best buddies. Thank God for His wonderful patience with me. May I remember God's love and patience so that I am always, always patient with others.

Some people take issue with what you say that some believers do not have the Holy Spirit because they have not obeyed. I do agree with you. Unbelievers cannot receive the Holy Spirit and many believers also do not receive the Holy Spirit. The reason is that they do not really believe. They have not accepted Jesus Christ and they do not OBEY Him. Jesus Christ promised the Holy Spirit to all those who believe in Him and who OBEY Him.
I read from John 14:12 Jesus said:“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17that is the Spirit of truth, WHOM THE WORLD CANNOT RECEIVE, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you."
Jesus Christ Himself is the SPIRIT and those who have accepted Him and who have received the Holy Spirit have the Spirit of Christ in them. Jesus was speaking to His disciples and He was explaining to them that He was there with them and that He would be IN them once He had departed, ascended to heaven and sent the Holy Spirit to be IN them. That happened on the day of Pentecost (Acts 1,2) when the Holy Spirit was given.
I read further from verse 18“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19“After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also. 20“In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you."
Those who have received the Holy Spirit know that Jesus Christ and the Father are ONE. They can SEE Him. They are of the same Spirit because He is also IN them. Those who have not received the Holy Spirit neither hear Him nor do they see Him. They cannot receive Him because they do not believe Him and they do not obey Him, they have not accepted Him.
We read from verse 21:“He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.”
Those who have accepted Jesus Christ OBEY Him and He gives His Holy Spirit IN them. He reveals Himself IN them and TO them, He DISCLOSES Himself to them and that is why they KNOW Him. That is why the world does not know Him, because they reject Him, they have not accepted Him. They do not OBEY Him. Many believers also do not obey Him and that is why they do not KNOW Him. They do not know His VOICE and they do not follow Him.
22Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?”
23Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24“He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me."
Those who love Jesus Christ OBEY His words, the words that He taught, that He spoke, the gospel of Jesus Christ that which was recorded in the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Those who truly believe in Him and who have accepted Him live according to those words and Jesus Christ reveals Himself to them. Him and the Father come and abide with them. His Spirit comes and lives IN them, the Holy Spirit. God is with them and God is IN them, His Spirit dwells IN them.
We read from verse 25“These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. 26“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He WILL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, AND BRING TO YOUR REMEMBRANCE ALL THAT I SAID TO YOU."
Jesus Christ was physically leaving His disciples. He would be crucified, resurrected and leave their presence when He ascended to heaven but He promised His Holy Spirit to be IN and with them, His very own presence, not only to them but to all those who would believe after hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Those who would accept Him and obey Him, He would give His Spirit IN them . He would reveal Himself to them, disclose Himself to them. The would HEAR Him, they would SEE Him and they would be able to FOLLOW Him, they would be His DISCIPLES, His BODY, the Body of Christ who are ONE with Jesus Christ. They would be lead by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ IN them.
Those who do not have the Spirit of Christ do not belong to Him, even though they have a Bible, even though they belong to a church, even though they believe that they are saved, even though they believe they have eternal life. If you do not have the Spirit of Christ and if you are not lead by the Spirit of Christ then you are not one of His sheep, you do not belong to Him. The apostle Paul wrote in Romans 8:14 "those who are being lead by the Spirit of God they are the children of God" they are the sons of God. Not just those who believe but those who HAVE the Spirit and who are LEAD by the Spirit, they are the Body of Christ, they are of the kingdom of God. The obey Jesus Christ and they follow Him every day. They are in communion, in relationship with Him.
Do you have the Spirit of Christ? Have you received the Holy Spirit? Do you follow and obey Him? Are you of Him? Are you a child of God?

In Acts ch.19 Paul met certain disciples that were believers but hadn't recieved the Holy Spirit. He baptized them in the name of Jesus Christ. Then he layed hands on them until they recieved the Holy Spirit. How did he know that they had ? Because they spoke in " tongues". The word "tongues" in the N.T.s original language means " another language" one spiritual tongue or language.( 1Cor.14:2) Find an apostolic church and have them lay hands on you and pray with you until you receive.

Millions and millions of professing Christians in the world haven't recieved the Holy Spirit because they have been falsely told that when they hear and believe the gospel message that they recieved the Holy Spirit right then. That's not what the scriptures say.
Look at Acts ch.19, Paul asks some disciples, "Have you recieved the Holy Spirit since you believed?" They were obviously believers in the gospel message but hadn't recieved the Holy Spirit yet ! The word " recieve", in the N.T. original Greek means " to take hold of". Saul( Paul) obviously believed the gospel message after seeing and speaking with Jesus on the road to Damascus but still he prayed for three days and fasted. Then Ananias told him, "Why tarriest thou? Arise and be baptized calling on the name of the Lord". Why would he be calling on the Lord at that point ? To receive the Holy Spirit.

We do not receive the Spirit through obedience. Obedience is a result of having the Spirit. It is God who calls and it is God who gives Grace. It is God that gives us faith. It is God that does His works through us. It has very little to do with our will. It is all Gods will according to His purpose.

@@finalcall07 yes brother.. actually I was in Catholic faith lived like an ordinary Christian not knowing anything about Christ Jesus and his purpose of death. But when I started reading holy Bible and listening to Pentecostal Church Gospel messages, I got to know the truth and the meaning of salvation and understand the seriousness of living a holy life. Accordingly I repented and took water baptism in a different church last year in the month March 2018. Since then, I can see myself my character has changed and I am so hungry for God always meditate on Scriptures. Now I want to tell the whole world that Jesus is Lord and he is the only way for SALVATION. I am in my 50s and house wife from India. Maybe I should wait to receive holy spirit. Please reply brother

Is the spirit of Christ and the holy spirit two different inhabitations that we must hope and pray for? Are they separate encounters?

We all can receive the holly spirit. I am a sinner and no one is perfect, we all fall short of the lord daily. We can all receive it as long as we believe.

finalcall07 no one stops sining, don’t be ignorant about that. We aren’t holly, we are all sinners. The only ones that go to hell are the ones that keep judging, just like you keep judging. I’m sorry but you aren’t Holy and no one is and if you keep imagining that you will stop sinning one day then you’ve got an issue there, no one EVER STOPS SINNING. Иисус говорил Своим ученикам, и Он объяснял им, что Он был с ними, и что Он будет В них, когда Он вознесся на небо то послал Святого Духа, чтобы быть В них. Это произошло в день Пятидесятницы (Деян 1,2), когда Святой Дух был дан.
Я читал дальше от стиха 18 "Я не оставлю вас сиротами; Я приду к вам. 19 "Через некоторое время мир больше не будет видеть Меня, но вы увидите Меня; потому что Я живу, вы также будете жить. 20 "В тот день вы будете знать, что Я в Отце Моем, и вы во Мне, и Я в вас."

Мы читаем из стиха 21: "Тот, кто имеет заповеди Мои и соблюдает их, тот любит Меня; и тот, кто любит Меня, тот возлюблен будет Отцом Моим, и Я возлюблю его и явлюсь ему Сам".
Те, кто принял Иисуса Христа ПОВИНУЮТСЯ Ему, и Он дает Своего Святого Духа В них. Он открывает Себя В них и С ними, Он ОТКРЫВАЕТ Себя им, и именно поэтому они Его ЗНАЮТ. Именно поэтому мир не знает Его, потому что они отвергают Его, они не приняли Его. Они не ПОВИНУЮТСЯ Ему. Многие верующие также не повинуются Ему, и именно поэтому они не ЗНАЮТ Его. Они не знают Его ГОЛОС, и они не следуют за Ним.
22 Иуда (не Искариот) сказал Ему: "Господи, что же это, что Ты собираешься раскрыть Себя нам, а не миру?"
23 Иисус отвечал и сказал ему: "Если кто любит Меня, тот соблюдет слово Мое; и Отец Мой возлюбит его, и Мы придем к нему и обитель у него сотворим. 24 "Тот, кто не любит Меня не соблюдает слов Моих; и слово, которое вы слышите, не есть Мое, но Отца, который послал Меня."

Те, кто не имеет Духа Христа не принадлежат Ему, даже если они имеют Библию, несмотря на то, что они принадлежат к церкви, несмотря на то, что они считают, что они спасены, несмотря на то, что они считают, что они имеют жизнь вечную. Если у тебяас нет Духа Христова, и если ты не водимы Духом Христа, то ты не одна из Его овец, ты не принадлежишь Ему. Апостол Павел писал в Послании к Римлянам 8:14 «Ибо все, водимые Духом Божиим, суть сыны Божии" они сыны Божьи. Не только те, кто верит, но те, кто ИМЕЕТ Дух, и которые ВОДИМЫ Духом, они Тело Христово, они от Царства Божьего. Повинуются Иисусу Христу, и они следуют за Ним каждый день. Они находятся в общении, в отношениях с Ним.
Есть ли у тебя Дух Христа? Получил ли ты Святого Духа? Ты следуешь и повинуешься Ему? Ты принадлежишь Ему? Ты дитя Божье?

Where is your joy? When we believe and receive Jesus we receive his joy and we obey his commands because we love him. We do not obey his commandments to escape hell. We obey him because we love him and he fills us with joy and love and care for the lost and our brothers. Jesus said If we love him we will obey his commandments.. love THEN obey not Obey then love. Jesus baptizes in the Holy Spirit, dear friend. You don't need anybody to lay hands on you. Repent and be baptized in water and then ask Jesus to baptize you in the Holy Spirit.

People that have received the Holy Spirit baptism can speak in tongues but it does not mean that they follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Many of them are full of demons also because they have turned away from Jesus and have gone back to sin.
