Babar X1 did well in the bowling but it was Babar and Rizwan's opening partnership which actually cost Pakistan a big final as 155 was the winning total on this wicket. The fact is Pakistan bowling tried hard up to 17th over defending a paltry total of 137. Indian barren attack did little but to surrender in 17 overs in spite of more healthier total. There were number of occasion Indian bowlers could not defend over 200 target also. Hence you cannot win by virtue of batting alone. The extra bounce in Melbourne pitch too hard for the batsmen to play shots.

England is a very good side with great bowling and batting depth. Still pakistani bowlers did extremely well to keep them in the game, what our bowlers couldn't do. Pakistan were at a really good position till 16th over but they lost the momentum in the last 4 overs which is why they lost today.
If 150 or 160 on board..it was definitely a Pakistan game...but again poor batting by Babar n Rizwan....such a poor captaincy...why Nawaz was not used on this pitch...this is very poor from babar..he is not a captain material...throw him out
