Actually Childe signature weapon was originally the rust,it came with his first banner,plus the aesthetic is similar and also the passive helps him a lot,but hoyo added the polar star bc after childe first banner every character started to get a signature 5* weapon instead of a 4*,so our boy wasnt gonna be neglected I have him since 1.1,he was my first limited banner character,got him in my heart and i still use him till today,with kazuha bennet and xiangling he is brutally good

I waited all video for you to mention that being able to switch from melee to bow is super useful. Need to knock down that flying thing, switch to bow. Need to ravage a mob, switch to daggers. He also applies hydro faster than any other unit, AND has the fastest attack speed out of any unit. Been maining him since his release, and he never disappoints. Always solid. Always works. He's a must-pull if you don't have a good hydro dps.

Same here. I didn't even want him. I wanted C6 heizou and C6 Thoma. I had 30 wishes left until 50/50, but Hoyo gave me Childe on my first 10 pull. I used 100 wishes and got C4-c6 heizou, C4-c6 Thoma, C0-C1 Layla, C0 Childe, and C0 Candace. No lie, I was pretty upset about getting Childe because I have C1 Raiden and I really want her C2. Now I'm searching for videos to make the best of my Childe situation

recently I started building him for the first time, and trust me if you sleep on childe like i did you are locking yourself out of insanely potent dmg. I have yet to clear abyys and even tho fontaine enemies are the bane to hydro users currently, he'll carry your team when you build him with best stuff you have.

@@crcrsenpai8574 c2 of heizou has a pull effect, so for those who doesn't have kazuha or sucrose like me, c2 heizou does the trick. Also heizou does crazy damage so you can switch between heizou and childe optimally.
Despite not really use him (I like his reptide, don't misunderstand), I feel like it felt wrong without pulling all Harbingers. The game is easy now btw, regardless their kits complement each other or not.
If I somehow manage to pull him (got Nahida really late, so i doubt I have much pity), I'd just give him the slingshot. I mean, it's free dmg boost in close range.

Your Ayato argument is so true I always say that if you have one or the other you shouldn't pull for the other because of how similar they are Ayato is basically childe with more personal dmg less hydro application and easier to play and has more teams where he is better than childe but childe has international which is a really good team Its ironic because they are such a contrast to Yelan and XQ You should 100% get both XQ and Yelan because together they are fucking busted and even on their own they are amazing XQ being more of a support and a hydro applier and Yelan leaning more on being a sub DPS

An advice, people should at least pull c2 heizou. The pull effect is very helpful for those who don't have kazuha and sucrose. And Heizou nukes!

Had him since he first came out, managed to get him to C1 and with this rerun i had saved a lot of primos for the beloved polar star. I'm happy that i got it but kinda salty that i got 2 kagura's verities in a single 10 pull after that. Could have been r3 but hoyo said that's enough :c

I always say that if you have one or the other you shouldn't pull for the other because of how similar they are
Ayato is basically childe with more personal dmg less hydro application and easier to play and has more teams where he is better than childe but childe has international which is a really good team
Its ironic because they are such a contrast to Yelan and XQ
You should 100% get both XQ and Yelan because together they are fucking busted and even on their own they are amazing
XQ being more of a support and a hydro applier and Yelan leaning more on being a sub DPS
