This design definitely needs some improvements and minor tweaks done to it, but this is way better than any Maytag or Whirlpool washer of the same design
Even these new LG’s are a bit too stingy with water on the normal setting. I do feel though that this is a good washer most LG’s are, and this gives the added benefit of an agitator as opposed to just the wash plate for those that prefer this design.
Way to little water in this wash cycle. More water would provide better results. Not sold on the agitator design either. I would stay with the Maytag Commercial for top load far better.
These top load lg washers here in the US are very slow, those in Latin America agitation go much faster, they took out wave force and were weak in the wash, wash up to the middle of the basket down, high level they don't wash weak
Hey, Kirk! Your videos have been extremely helpful to me in deciding on a washing machine! Our Maytag performa (2004) recently went out. We purchased the LG wt7005cw (don't think you've done a video on it yet). I like it, BUT I feel like the agitator may be too rough and causing small holes in our clothes. It performs similar to this agitator, if not exactly the same. Am I crazy to think this could happen? Maybe I'm just paying more attention to our laundry now but it's driving me CRAZY. Thought about exchanging it for the LG wt7100 (impeller instead of pole agitator). What are your thoughts?
@@Smurdle450 Yes! Ended up exchanging for the LG wt7100. I like it SO much better. I think it does a great job of moving the clothes around. With the wt7005, I felt like I HAD to put the load on deep wash (on normal, the clothes right around the agitator just seemed to get jerked back and forth, while the other clothes didn't move at all). I don't hesitate to put my new one on normal cycle! Overall, I am extremely pleased with it!
Extra rinse equals to 2 hours of washing/ rinsing. 30 min is long enough to wash one load of clothes. These new machine take too long to wash because of bad design and no water to circulate the clothes. No thank you. Speed Queen it is.
Love the vids Kirk.
You helped me decide on what washer is good for my needs. I've been researching over a year.

I agree.

@@katieg9754 Good to hear!
Impeller washers, when done well, are very good! I think LG falls into the category of a impeller washer done well.
AGITATOR IN LG?
