Hey, not sure if you need it or not, but I thought i'd help you out even though it's been awhile. for writing a check, we are planning on losing (paying) $500, but we only recorded ourselves losing $50. We still need to lose an extra $450 in order to get to what should have been paid/recorded. for the deposit, we recorded ourselves receiving $500, but we should have only received $50. This means we booked ourselves an extra $450, and we need to subtract it to get it to the real value.
Thank you so much! D: 7000 is the answer

Question around 11:44 shouldn’t you add 450 instead of subtracting it since you recorded the books incorrectly? Sorry trying to get the concept of it
