- Hey my Name is Paul i am a Fulltime Filmmaker from Germany.
Certainly! The Panasonic Lumix S5 camera offers several color profiles that can be used to capture images and videos with different color tones and styles. Here are some of the color profiles available in the camera:
1. **Standard**: This profile is the default setting for both photo and video modes. It provides a great straight-out-of-camera profile with good results for indoor and outdoor filming. However, if you hope to grade the footage in editing, the Panasonic standard picture profile has too much contrast ¹.
2. **Vivid**: This profile increases color saturation to its maximum. It works great for shooting something colorful, like gardens, landscapes, or kid toys. However, the Vivid color profile is best for anything other than people and animals as it over-saturates skin tones more than any of the other Panasonic picture profiles ¹.
3. **Natural**: This profile is the most used by default for great out-of-camera colors. The main reason Natural is the choice on the Panasonic S5 is because of the great and accurate skin tones. This works great for video and photography when the camera is set to P mode. This is my favorite profile for shooting videos ¹.
4. **NCLAS N**: This is a very flat profile except for the emphasized highlights. It is a great profile for grading in post-production

Clean you lens to remove the Muschiness around highlights ;-)
@@salat

Jonack is back. Your videos are getting better and better. They werent bad before, but you are really spicing things up now. Thanks for showing us what this forgotten camera is capable of delivering. Your channel is massively underrated. Thank you for inspiring the rest of us!
Hey hey thank you very much. I dont think the S5 is forgotten or something ^^ it is the amateur Alternative for the S5iix. Still a very capable camera. And the Color Settings are similar to the S5ii
@@JonackFilm youre really the only one that has published a lot of good vids about shooting and color grading in HDR specifically, which is very helpful for me not only for TH-cam but I learned recently Instagram/Facebook now also supports HDR videos for Reels
@@empedance1933 what Instagram and Facebook? For real ^^¿ that's crazy man. That means you can upload 10bit hdr Reels to Instagram? That's something new wow
@@JonackFilm yup lol mainly because newer iPhones and high end android phones can record in a Dolby Vision HDR format, but apps like Davinci Resolve has options for rendering out in that same format! Settings apparently have to be dialed in perfectly though (1080x1920 at 29.97fps) or else it'll stay as SDR after uploading.
A TH-camr named Max Rovensky has a good video on it!
